DAY FOUR of and today we are looking at the impact of employer-supported volunteering (ESV). Volunteering in this way can lead to stronger, more connected teams, an increased sense of pride in the workplace (and increased brand awareness) as well as employee retention. And for local non-profits, they can benefit from a large task accomplished in one fell swoop!

Here at Volunteer Centre Camden, we have a service called Team UP which makes ESV easy. Each project is tailored to what you and your employees want to do and all aspects of the volunteering (sourcing, matching, planning, risk assessment etc) is fully managed by us.

DAY THREE of Volunteers' Week... the national celebration of volunteers across the UK. There are a variety of reasons why someone would want to volunteer... Volunteering is a chance to give back to a cause that is close to your heart, a chance to fill a gap on your CV or to try something new. If you're new to an area it can help you meet more people and feel more part of your local community. There are 100s of local roles to choose from.
