Today, we celebrated National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day, taking time to acknowledge the hard work and commitment of our estates and facilities teams. Colleagues hosted a stall in the atrium, showcasing the breadth of work that takes place. ππ
Often working behind the scenes, our estates and facilities colleagues play a vital role in keeping both of our hospitals safe, operational, and welcoming. Thank you also to our partners, EQUANS-Group and HATS for your ongoing support.
Whether itβs maintaining essential systems like heating and ventilation, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, preparing meals, or supporting patient movement, their contribution is integral to the care we provide every day.

This week we have proudly celebrated the incredible work of our more than 400 volunteers across the Trust who generously give their time to support our patients, visitors and staff every day. Their compassion, kindness and commitment make a real and lasting difference to the experience of care and to our teams.
To mark this invaluable contribution, the volunteering team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital hosted their annual celebrations at each site with some well deserved cake and treats! ππ
