Celebrating Our Incredible Foster Carers. We had the pleasure to come together with our amazing foster carers for a special afternoon tea – a small gesture to say a very big thank you.

Heartfelt conversations over tea and cake, sharing stories, laughter, and support, it was a truly uplifting way to recognise the incredible difference our carers make every single day.

This fortnight our foster carers are encouraging you to play a part in growing our fostering community.

🎉 Windrush Family Fun Day – Celebrating Kinship Care in Islington! 🌟

What a wonderful event! A huge thank you to The Virtual School for putting on such a fantastic day. Fostering had an amazing time – the atmosphere was filled with energy, joy, and a true sense of togetherness 💛

We came together to honour the strength and love of kinship carers in our community – the unsung heroes who keep families connected and thriving.

🎉 We Did It! Foster Walk 2025 Was a Huge Success! 👣💜

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible foster carers and colleagues who walked with us and cheered us on. Special thanks to Cllr Michelline Safi-Ngongo for her inspiring words of support and encouragement, highlighting the vital work our foster carers do every day. 💜

Together, we walked an amazing 159,495 steps for the 70,000 children in care across England. Every step was a symbol of hope, resilience, and community. 💜
