📖✨ SOLD OUT | Cyprus at the European Poetry Festival 2026 ✨📖
What happens when poets from different countries, traditions and languages come together in one room?
Magic.
Last night, Cyprus House was filled with words, ideas, laughter, reflection and creativity as we welcomed a sold-out audience for our second participation in the European Poetry Festival.
Curated by Steven J. Fowler, the evening brought together poets from Cyprus, Greece, the United Kingdom and beyond in a series of unique collaborations created especially for this event. The result was an inspiring celebration of contemporary poetry and the power of artistic dialogue across borders.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful poets:
📚 Alev Adil & Haris Psarras
📚 Milo Thesiger Meacham & Caitlin Nugent
📚 Theodoros Chiotis & Jonathan Catherall
📚 Stathis Dimitriadis & Yanita Georgieva
📚 Erina Charalambous & David Spittle
📚 Nora Nadjarian & Annie Katchinska
📚 Eleni Kefala & Katerina Koulouri
📚 Calliope Michail & Xelis de Toro
Thank you also to Steven J. Fowler for his vision, friendship and commitment to creating spaces where literature can thrive and new artistic encounters can emerge.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us. Seeing Cyprus House filled with literature enthusiasts, poets, readers and friends of culture was a beautiful reminder that poetry continues to matter. It continues to bring people together, spark conversations and create connections that transcend geography, language and background.
Before the event, many of our guests also joined the final curated tour of There Is An Island III, bringing to a close six months of exhibitions, performances, talks and artistic exchanges at Cyprus House.
A memorable evening. A packed room. Wonderful poetry.
Until next time. ❤️📖🌍
