Hello Chesterfield! The result at Makerfield did not go our way, but we can be immensely proud of our efforts over the last 5-6 weeks.
Thankyou to everyone who mucked in to help our candidate Rob, who conducted himself with grace & dignity throughout the campaign. What comes next for Westminster is anyone’s guess !!
Burnham becoming an MP will trigger a Mayoral election in Greater Manchester and at the same time all eyes will be on the actions around Starmer, who is haemorrhaging popularity by the day and yet, only he can’t see it!
So for now, grab the popcorn as the torrential Labour infighting continues, the word salad speeches get boringly read out, more gaslighting than you need to illuminate Westminster & political gymnastic prowess on full display that would out do any circus act as egos Jockey one another for power! 🥱🤡🍿🤸‍♂️🍿🏇🤡🍿🥴
