ULAS Officer Cadets recently partook in a mock OASC day to prepare them for their officer applications.

The day included interviews, group discussions, route-planning exercises, and command task activities, all designed to replicate elements of the OASC selection process.

Throughout the day, cadets had the opportunity to develop and demonstrate key leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a challenging and supportive environment.

On 29th April staff and students of ULAS flew to to visit and personally thank Mr Robert Pooley LVO MBE for their new Sword of Excellence, gifted to mark the Squadron’s 90th Anniversary. Pooley’s Swords continue to support 6FTS in their mission to deliver air military engagement in further and higher educational establishments and attract talent into the RAF Regular and Reserve Forces through the University Air Squadrons.
