Thanks for taking a look at our rules.

It’s not the most exciting part of our page, but it’s something we feel is important – mainly to help explain why sometimes we may need to remove the odd comment now and again, and to let you know what you can expect from us on Facebook. We want you to feel like you can come to us on Facebook for information and advice. We also want our page to be a safe and friendly community for everyon

It's another 9pm kick off tonight for England's 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 second group match against Ghana 🇬🇭! Here's to a similar performance to the one we saw against Croatia in the second half last week! Best of luck to the boys! ⚽🥅

Remember, if you're supporting your team a bit of friendly rivalry and competitiveness with opposition supporters is all part of the game - but that should never cross the line.

Like with domestic abuse, we see incidents of hate crime increase nationally during major football tournaments and authorities will always look to take the strongest action against anybody committing acts of hate, including online.

And if you're a victim of any type of hate crime, please report it. There's lots of useful information including links to support organisations on our website: https://www.ncchousing.org.uk/section/anti-social-behaviour/hate-crime/

Best of luck to Elliot and all the boys for tonight's England World Cup match against Ghana - 9pm kick off. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

And thank you to Elliot for making it clear that domestic abuse is never acceptable - whether we win, lose or draw.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We're now 24 hours away from England kicking off their second match of the World Cup.

Domestic abuse incidents increase nationally when England play at major tournaments – whether they win, lose, or draw.

⚽ We don't think that's acceptable and neither do Nottingham Forest and their England football team international Elliot Anderson.

❌ As he says: "There is no excuse for domestic abuse. Enjoy the football. Don't take it out on others."

If you are in need of support immediately for an emergency, call the police on 999.

📱 Otherwise, please phone us on 101, or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. We are here to listen and to help you.

An amber Heat Health Alert is in place across Nottingham, with high temperatures building throughout the week.

Please take extra care in the hot weather by:

🫗Drinking plenty of fluids
🌞Keeping out of the sun between 11am and 3pm if at all possible
👒Wearing a sun hat, loose cool fitting clothes and wear sunscreen when you are outside
🪟Keep curtains, blinds and windows closed in the daytime - open them in the evenings to let cooler air to circulate
👴🏼Check on older and more vulnerable friends, family or neighbours who can be more at risk in the heat

And remember - if you're getting the paddling pool out please don't fill them using the hose from a mixer tap in your house. If the pool end is submerged in the water, it will back up and flood your house.

There's lots of useful tips on staying safe in the heat on the Met Office website:
