๐ Starting on Saturday 27 June, artist Morven Stewart, with Our Seas, explores Scotlandโs landscapes through observation and sketching, capturing fleeting moments shaped by light, weather and place while encouraging appreciation and conservation of land and sea.
Morven Stewart - Artist and Wanderer๐
Morven Stewartโs wanderings take her from snow-capped summits to sandy shores. Although she is based at Perth Creative Exchange, her practice is largely nomadic, often carried out from a rucksack or bike panniers as she travels across Scotland. When working outdoors, the weather determines her materials: watercolours and inks on calm, sunlit days, and oils or pastels in the midst of gales and storms. This responsive approach results in work that is immediate and expressive, rooted in the experience of being immersed in the landscape.
๐
On display from 27 June until 26 September 2026 at North Inch Community Library during library opening hours.

We are delighted to see library services recognised for the benefits they bring to individuals and communities across our region, and welcome the announcement today of continued support from Elected Members and Council Officers at Perth and Kinross Council. The paper agreed by Council today secures the future of current provision and offers a route forward for the further development of libraries as true community hubs for a range of services and activities.
The support we have received from library users, campaigners and communities has been vital to this successful outcome, and we look forward to continuing to work together to serve local needs and interests.
For Culture Perth and Kinross staff, todayโs welcome news provides reassurance after several years of uncertainty, and we thank them for all their hard work and excellent service, even during difficult times.
We will continue to work with the Council on the implementation of the recommendations of the report and in the meantime express our gratitude for local Elected Members' support for libraries.
