Show the strength of feeling in the local community and to ensure that Post Office Ltd and other organisations involved pull out all the stops to prevent the closure of this very popular local branch. Cosham is one of the 115 branches now earmarked for closure, as part of the last remaining sites that are directly owned by the Post Office, known as Crown Post Offices.



The post office service located on Cosham High Street is vital for the local community, and it is hugely concerning that the Post Office has announced it’s at risk.


With the closure of so many high street banks and shops, the Cosham Post Office is one of the few places left to bank. This is why it’s always such a busy branch, and I know it’s used by people from all over Portsmouth North, of all ages.


I have launched this petition to show the strength of feeling in the local community and to ensure that Post Office Ltd and other organisations involved pull out all the stops to prevent the closure of this very popular local branch.
