10 Platoon Army Cadets will be at the St Mary's Church May Fayre this bank holiday Monday 2nd.

10 Plt pulled all the stops out this Sunday when twelve of their cadets descended on Tesco Stores at North Harbour for a charity bag-pack between 10 to 4pm.

The cadets must have worked hard as just in those short hours they managed to raise a massive £639.28, with the winning bucket with the most raised achieved by Cdt Ana Gordo and Cdt Jessica Cadwallader with an impressive £176.20.

This is the second charity event of this nature they have undertaken in the last few months and so a donation of over £800 is to be made to Naomi House a children's hospice, providing care for children with life threatened illnesses.

The Detachment Commander 2/LT Chris Hargrave's said he was immensely proud of the effort that the cadets had put in.
