Become a Befriending Volunteer at Age UK Portsmouth
Supporting elderly people who are housebound or lonely with
befriending or facilitated support, tailored to an individual's needs. This could be a visit on a one-to-one basis, a weekly phone call, or accompanying them to an activity. We simply couldn’t manage to deliver all of our services without the contribution of our volunteers’ skills, knowledge, time and commitment.

We are now taking referrals for our Meals on Wheels service.
Our team happily cater for clients with diabetes, food allergies, intolerances or any dietary requirements including preparing easy-to-swallow meals. Meals are delivered 365 days a year by our friendly delivery drivers for those living within PO1 - PO6.
