GIADEC welcomed a high-level delegation from the Republic of Burundi as part of their
official visit to Ghana.
Led by CEO Reindorf Yaw Twumasi Ankrah, Management shared Ghana's experiences and best practices in managing the extractive sector.
The delegation included senior government officials from Burundi, alongside representatives from Ghana's Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

Our CEO Yaw Twumasi Ankrah speaking at the Fastmarkets Bauxite & Alumina Conference 2026, outlining Ghana’s policy priorities for bauxite refinery development.
He highlighted that Ghana’s policy is firmly anchored on processing bauxite into high-value, smelter-grade alumina to support GIADEC’s vision and supply VALCO and other smelters for aluminium metal production driving value addition, industrialisation, and sustainable growth for Ghana.
