Today I want to share a heartfelt message of gratitude and inspiration.

Being selected as a brand ambassador for the Turntable settel sunu rew is truly an honor, and I carry it with deep responsibility and pride. It was a powerful experience standing alongside my team and the dedicated volunteers of Aron Charter during our major cleanup exercise at Turntable.

That day was more than just a Clean up it was a reminder that environmental responsibility begins with us. It showed that change is possible when people come together with one vision, one purpose, and one heart for their community. Every effort made on the ground reflected unity, discipline, and commitment to building a cleaner and more sustainable future.

To all the volunteers of Aron Charter, I sincerely thank you. Your energy, dedication, and willingness to serve made this mission a success. You continue to prove that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the changemakers of today.

I had the privilege of joining Setal Sunu Rew at Tanji alongside other passionate volunteers to take action for our environment. What may seem like a small effort picking up waste, restoring our surroundings actually speaks volumes about who we are and the future we want to build.
Being part of this initiative reminded me that real change doesn’t always start with big policies, but with individuals who care enough to act. Together, we proved that when people come with a shared purpose, even the simplest actions can create lasting impact.
Let this be a reminder: protecting our environment is not a one day event, it’s a continuous responsibility. The earth gives to us every day it’s only right that we give back.

I had the privilege of taking part in a cleaning exercise at Abuko Forest here in The Gambia an experience that grounded me and reminded me that real change begins with individual responsibility.
As a passionate environmentalist and CEO of Aron Charter, I believe that protecting our environment goes beyond words it requires action. Being present in the forest, clearing waste and reconnecting with nature, was both humbling and deeply inspiring.
Nature gives so much to us, and moments like this remind me that it is our duty to give back. Every small effort counts, and every action we take today shapes the future we leave behind.
Let us continue to protect, preserve, and respect the environment for ourselves and for generations to come.

Today, I had the privilege of attending the National Validation Workshop on Soil Health organized by Soil Solution Gambia and partners.

It was an impactful and enlightening experience, bringing together passionate stakeholders committed to restoring our soils, strengthening food systems, and securing a sustainable future for The Gambia. Healthy soil is the foundation of life and safeguarding it is a responsibility we all share.

We are proud to be part of this important conversation and remain committed to supporting initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and community empowerment.

Together, we can nurture our land and build a greener, healthier future for generations to come.
