Eilat is it. ☀️🌊
Think:
• Crystal-clear water you can actually see through

🇮🇱 Already living in Israel and thinking about making Aliyah?
Before you apply, here’s what you need to know:
The amount of time you’ve spent living in Israel before receiving Oleh status can affect the benefits you’re eligible for.
🟢 Up to 3 years in Israel? You may qualify for full benefits from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration.
🟡 Between 3 and 5 years? You may be eligible for partial benefits.
🔴 More than 5 years? You may no longer qualify for Ministry assistance.
💡 But don’t worry, not every stay counts! Time spent in programs such as Masa, IDF service, National Service, academic studies, and certain volunteer programs may not affect your eligibility.
Every Aliyah journey is unique, and your eligibility may be too.
Before making plans, make sure you know what benefits you’re entitled to and how your time in Israel may impact them.

🌊 A beach day in Israel isn’t just a quick visit, it’s part of the lifestyle.
You’ll notice people come prepared to stay for hours, with shade, food, music, and friends. It’s social, relaxed, and full of energy.
One thing that helps you enjoy it fully is understanding the flag system:
• White flag – calm sea, great for swimming
• Red flag – rough conditions, stay out of the water
• Black flag – beach closed
Most beaches also have lifeguards, and staying near them is always the best choice.
Once you get the rhythm, early mornings or late afternoons, lots of water, plenty of shade, beach days here quickly become something you look forward to all week.

One of the biggest surprises for Olim parents is not the school system itself, but how communication works. 📲
In many countries, communication with teachers is formal:
Emails, scheduled meetings, structured updates.
In Israel, it’s very different.
Much of the communication happens through:
• Class WhatsApp groups
• Quick updates from teachers
• Messages between parents
Things move quickly, and information can come at any time.
This has pros and cons.
On one hand:
• You’re always informed
• You can easily ask questions
• There’s a strong sense of community
On the other:
• It can feel overwhelming
• Messages don’t stop
• Important information can get lost in the noise
For Olim parents, the key is learning how to manage it:
• Join the group early
• Don’t hesitate to ask for clarification
• Save important dates immediately
• Mute notifications, but check regularly
It may feel chaotic at first.
But over time, it becomes one of the ways you feel connected, not just to the school, but to the entire community around your child.

School Break Is Coming! ☀️
In Israel, summer vacation does not begin for everyone on the same day.
Middle and high school students usually finish earlier, around June 20, while younger children in ganim and elementary school usually finish around June 30.
For Olim parents, this means one thing: plan in layers.
• Teens may be home earlier
• Younger kids may still be in school
• Kaytanot may begin soon after
• August often needs a separate plan
The earlier you map it out, the easier your summer becomes.

🎉 Great News for Aliyah and Northern Israel!
The Israeli government has approved a new ₪24.5 million initiative, running through 2030, to encourage Aliyah to Northern Israel and support the integration of Olim physicians into the country’s healthcare system.
The initiative includes:
🏡 Expanded rental assistance for new Olim who choose to make their home in key communities across Northern Israel.
👨⚕️ A dedicated program to encourage the Aliyah of physicians and help them integrate quickly and successfully into Israel’s healthcare workforce.
Led by the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, this initiative reflects a strategic vision that recognizes both Aliyah and the development of Northern Israel as national priorities. By supporting new Olim and strengthening essential services, the program aims to help build thriving communities and a stronger future for the region.
🇮🇱 Together, we continue to strengthen Aliyah, support local communities, and invest in the future of Northern Israel.

🎓 Hundreds of Olim and future students joined us at the National Higher Education Fair to explore their academic opportunities in Israel!
Attendees met directly with representatives from leading universities and colleges, received guidance on scholarships, tuition assistance, and eligibility, and learned more about study programs and admission requirements.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and to our partners at Ofek Israeli, the World Zionist Organization, and the Jewish Agency for helping make this inspiring event a success.
We look forward to supporting the next generation of students on their academic journey in Israel! 🇮🇱✨
