📢 Token-Based Service Delivery System Introduced at the Office of the District Sub-Registrar, Sadar

As part of the District Administration's commitment to Good Governance and citizen-centric service delivery, a Token-Based Service Delivery System has been implemented at the Office of the District Sub-Registrar, Sadar through the installation of a Token Dispenser Machine.

The initiative aims to enhance the experience of citizens visiting the office by ensuring:

✅ Elimination of overcrowding in the Ejlash during document disposal and registration processes
✅ Reduced waiting-related inconvenience and hassle-free public service

📍Meeting on Registration of Deeds & Allied Issues

📢 A meeting with the District Registrar and Sub-Registrars of West Tripura District was held on 03 June 2026 at 5:00 PM through Video Conference (VC) to discuss matters related to the registration of deeds and other allied issues.

The meeting focused on reviewing the existing registration process, addressing operational challenges, ensuring timely service delivery, and discussing measures for improving efficiency and transparency in registration-related activities. Various issues concerning deed registration and associated administrative procedures were deliberated upon for effective implementation and better public service.

🚦 Traffic Advisory for Citizens 🚦

The District Administration, West Tripura, has issued a traffic advisory in view of the visit of the Hon’ble Union Home Minister of India to Tripura on 4th and 5th June 2026.

⚠️ Movement of all types of vehicles (except emergency services) will be restricted on designated routes during VVIP movement.

✅ Commuters are requested to plan their travel in advance and use the alternative routes notified by the administration.

🙏 Citizens are requested to cooperate with the Traffic Police and Administration to ensure smooth traffic management and public safety.

🌾✨ Success Story of a Lakhpati Didi from Mohanpur Block ✨🌾

Smt. Saraswati Shil, a dedicated member of Gomati SHG under Fatikchara Federation VO and Subhalaxmi CLF of Mohanpur Block, West Tripura District, has become a remarkable example of women’s entrepreneurship and self-reliance through mushroom cultivation.

With the support of a ₹1.50 lakh loan, she established a mushroom cultivation unit comprising around 4,000 mushroom beds. Through her unwavering dedication, hard work, and effective management, she successfully harvested two production cycles and earned an impressive income of approximately ₹2.50 lakh.

Her inspiring journey highlights the transformative impact of timely financial assistance, sustainable livelihood opportunities, and innovative agricultural practices in empowering rural women. Today, Smt. Saraswati Shil stands as a role model for aspiring women entrepreneurs, proving that determination and the right support can pave the way for economic independence and prosperity.

📌 Weekly Review Meeting with SDMs

🔹 A weekly review meeting with all SDMs was held today at 11:00 AM to review ongoing administrative activities, monitor progress of key government initiatives, and discuss priority matters requiring timely intervention.

✅ Necessary directions were issued to ensure effective implementation of development programmes and efficient public service delivery across the district.

📌 A meeting regarding the IGGL Gas Pipeline Project, compensation-related issues, and concerns of affected beneficiaries was successfully held today at the Conference Hall of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office, Jirania, West Tripura. 🗓️ Date: 02 June 2026

The meeting was attended by officials from various departments, representatives of IGGL, project contractors, PRI members, local stakeholders, and concerned beneficiaries. Detailed discussions were held on pipeline laying activities, compensation matters, and issues related to the affected areas.

The Civil Defence Air Raid and Blackout Mock Exercise–2026 was successfully conducted on 01 June 2026 under Jirania Sub-Division, West Tripura District.

🛡️ The exercise was organized to assess emergency preparedness, strengthen response mechanisms, and enhance coordination among various departments and emergency services in the event of an air raid or blackout situation.

👮‍♂️🚑🚒 Officials, Civil Defence volunteers, Police, Fire & Emergency Services, Health Department personnel, and other stakeholders actively participated in the mock drill.

✅ The exercise helped evaluate preparedness levels, communication systems, and response protocols while creating greater awareness among the public regarding emergency safety measures.

On 01.06.2026, the installation of CCTV Cameras and lighting facilities around all four sides of the OSC at Narasingarh was successfully completed.

🎥 Enhanced CCTV surveillance has been put in place to strengthen security and monitoring.

💡 The newly installed lighting system will improve visibility, safety, and accessibility of the premises during evening and night hours.
