Under the Amar Sarkar Village Walk initiative, officials and elected representatives stepped out of their offices and into the heart of the village, visiting households door-to-door to interact directly with residents.
The day’s efforts extended beyond issue identification. In a gesture of compassion and community care, Bijoynagar Gram Panchayat distributed milk packets to two newly detected TB patients, providing nutritional support essential for their recovery and well-being.

The event honored the 'Best House under PMAY', showcasing model homes that reflect dignity, cleanliness, and effective utilization of government support under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The 'Best Farmer Award' acknowledged progressive agricultural practices, innovation, and dedication to sustainable farming that strengthens local livelihoods. The 'Best Student Award' celebrated academic brilliance, discipline, and the promise of a brighter future nurtured within the village. Equally significant was the 'Best Toilet Award', reinforcing the Panchayat’s commitment to sanitation and hygiene, aligned with the vision of Swachh Bharat Mission. Altogether, the ceremony reflected Bijoynagar’s unwavering resolve to promote excellence, inspire healthy competition, and build a model village rooted in dignity, development, and collective progress.

On National Panchayati Raj Day, Bijoynagar Gram Panchayat stood united for dignity and safety in every home.
Villagers and elected representatives took a collective pledge against domestic violence; A strong message was delivered — Zero_tolerance_to_Domestic_violence, ₹1200 instant penalty for any violation was decided by the ERs.
Through “Ekti Chhap, Ekti Shapath” (একটি ছাপ, একটি শপথ), every handprint became a promise of respect.
