On the occasion of World Environment Day, GUSEC, in collaboration with eChai Ventures, successfully hosted the 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭-𝐮𝐩, bringing together founders, investors, professionals, students, and ecosystem leaders passionate about sustainability and climate-tech innovation.

The evening featured:

After sensitising 600 students in Phase 1, GUSEC, through its initiative Vikram Sarabhai Children Innovation Centre (VSCIC) in partnership with UNICEF, successfully concluded the Tribal Region Bootcamp Program in the Narmada region—one of Gujarat’s aspirational districts.

The program was inaugurated by Shri N N Madhu (Additional Collector, SoU – Narmada–Rajpipla, Gujarat). His words were truly inspiring for both the team and the young innovators.

Over 100 young innovators from different schools across the Narmada region came together to explore ideas, solve real-world problems, and build their own prototypes.

During the bootcamp, students took part in interactive sessions and hands-on activities, focusing on problem identification, ideation, and prototyping.

The program concluded with teams presenting their ideas in front of a jury, marking their first step into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Through the VSCIC Tribal Region Program, we aim to nurture innovation at the grassroots and bring forward ideas from tribal regions of the country.
