ब्रिटिश संसद में समाज सेवी श्री सतीश चंद्र उपाध्याय को सम्मान

महात्मा गांधी के १५०वीं वर्षगाँठ के सुअवसर पर प्रख्यात समाज सेवी श्री सतीश चंद्र उपाध्याय को सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं आध्यात्मिक छेत्र में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए हाउस ओफ़ कामन्स (ब्रिटिश संसद) में २८ सितंबर २०१९ को एक्सलेन्स अवार्ड प्रदान किया गया। इस अवसर पर श्री उपाध्याय ने विश्व शांति और सद्भावना का संदेश दिया ।

इस पुरस्कार के मुख्य आयोजक कान्फ़्लूयन्स फ़ाउंडेशन और प्रायोजक इंक्रेडिबल इण्डिया, भारतीय पर्यटन एवम् संस्कृति मन्त्रालय व लंदन स्थित भारतीय उच्चयोग थे ।
अपर आबकारी आयुक्त , उ० प्र०, के पद से सेवानिवृत्त श्री सतीश चंद्र उपाध्याय वर्तमान में इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट में अधिवक्ता के रूप में वकालत कर रहे हैं। इस भूमिका में वह ग़रीबों, विकलांगों एवं ग्रामीण अंचल के लोगों की सेवा करते रहे हैं।विवेकानन्द व महात्मा गांधी से प्रेरित , श्री मदभगवद गीता के “सर्वभूत हिते रता:” ( सभी प्राणियों के कल्याण में रत) सिद्धांत के अनुरूप वह विश्व कल्याण के लिए कार्यरत हैं। “समत्वम योग उच्च्ते” के अनुसार सामाजिक समरसता, आध्यात्मिक मूल्य व ग़रीबों का आर्थिक उत्थान उनके मुख्य उद्देश्य हैं। श्री उपाध्याय का भागवत गीता का देश और विदेशो में प्रचार करना और पर्यावरण की रक्षा के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर उत्तर प्रदेश में वृक्षारोपन कराना उनके प्रमुख लक्ष्य रहे हैं।

श्री उपाध्याय के साथ साथ अन्य विशिष्ट जनों को भी हाउस ओफ़ कामंज़ में सम्मानित किया गया जिनमें बॉलीवुड की फ़िल्म अभिनेत्री ग्रेसी सिंह, अमृता फड़नवीस ( सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता व धर्मपत्नी मुख्यमंत्री, महाराष्ट्र), सिस्टर जयंती (डायरेक्टर, ब्रह्मकुमारी यूरोप रीजन), कली पुरी (वाइस चयरमेन, इण्डिया टुडे ग्रूप) शामिल थे ।

In the course of celebration of 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Sri Satish Chandra Upadhyay was honoured and awarded in House of Commons - British parliament on 27th sept 2019. Sri Satish Chandra Upadhyay was awarded for his contribution in the field of Social, Economic and Spiritual Reforms.

The award ceremony was organised by “Confluence” - an international organisation supported by Incredible India, Ministry of Tourism & Culture- Govt of India and High Commission of India (London , UK).

Sri Satish Chandra Upadhyay has been practising in Allahabad High Court as an advocate since 2006 after retirement from the post of Additional excise commissioner, UP. While serving the poor, physically challenged people and rural people
Sri Upadhyay seeks inspiration from Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and Sri MadBhagwad Geeta. He is constantly engaged in welfare of the society. In Accordance with the doctrines- “Sarv Bhoot Hite Ratah” and “Sammtavam Yog Uchchyate” as propounded by Geeta, Sri Upadhyay works continuously for social equality, spiritual values and economic upliftment of the poor. He also puts in untiring effort to plant trees and protect the environment.

Excellence awards were also given to other eminent personalities including Sister Jayanti (Director - Brahmkumaries, Europe Region), Amrita Fadnawis ( Social worker , Wife of Chief Minister- Maharashtra), Kali Puri ( Vice Chairman, India Today Group) and Film Actress Gracy Singh.

The man who sees me in everything
and everything within me
will not be lost to me, nor

They alone see truly who see the Lord the same in every creature, who see the deathless in the hearts of all that die. Seeing the same Lord everywhere, they do not harm themselves or others. Thus they attain the supreme goal.
With a drop of my energy I enter the earth and support all creatures. Through the moon, the vessel of life-giving fluid, I nourish all plants. I enter breathing creatures and dwell within as the life-giving breath. I am the fire in the stomach which digests all food.
There are three gates to this self-destructive hell: lust, anger, and greed. Renounce these three.
Pleasure from the senses seems like nectar at first, but it is bitter as poison in the end.

the beginning, middle, and end of creation.
Among animals I am the lion; among birds, the eagle Garuda. I am Prahlada, born among the demons, and of all that measures, I am time.
I am death, which overcomes all, and the source of all beings still to be born.
Just remember that I am, and that I support the entire cosmos with only a fragment of my being.

Whenever dharma declines and the purpose of life is forgotten, I manifest myself on earth. I am born in every age to protect the good, to destroy evil, and to reestablish dharma.
As they approach me, so I receive them. All paths, Arjuna, lead to me.
