The Library was inaugurated in 1963 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. The building is centrally air-conditioned and equipped with computer and communication network. C.

A group of students, along with their teachers from Kalpana Chawla Government Polytechnic for Women, Ambala City, visited A.C. Joshi Library on 07.04.2026.
During their visit to the A.C. Joshi Library, the students had the privilege of exploring an array of books, journals, and digital resources spanning various fields of study. They were oriented by Ms. Seema Aggarwal (Library Assistant), who provided insights into the various services offered and the functioning of the library. The students were also given detailed information about the functioning of different sections by their respective in-charges. The student trainees of the library, accompanied by Ms. Seema Aggarwal, also learned how to conduct orientation programs.

A group of undergraduate students accompanied by their faculty members from the Department of Education of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib visited the A.C. Joshi Library on 17.04.2026. During their visit to the AC Joshi library a general awareness and physical round of the library was given by Dr. Richa Gupta.
