Prof. (Dr.) Tripta Thakur, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, VMSB Uttarakhand Technical University, and Chair, WePOWER India Chapter, chaired the WePOWER India Chapter Strategic Review & Sustainability Planning Meeting held at the World Bank Office, New Delhi.

The meeting brought together distinguished leaders and stakeholders from the power and energy ecosystem, including Ms. Tanushree Bhowmik, Partnership Coordinator, South Asia WePOWER Network, World Bank; Ms. Aditi Sengupta, Editorial Consultant, South Asia WePOWER Network, World Bank; Ms. Premlata, Executive Director (HR), NTPC Limited; Ms. Ritu Singh, Head – Gender Equality and Social Inclusion, EESL; Dr. Prasad Patki, Senior Vice President & Group CHRO, BSES Delhi; Mr. Puneet Jain, Head (HR), BSES Rajdhani Power Limited; Dr. Rashi Gupta, Founder, Vision Mechatronics Pvt. Ltd.; Dr. Ebin Cherian Mathew, Assistant Professor, IIT Kanpur; along with representatives from SEWA, Skill Council, industry, utilities, academia, and WEPOWER member organizations.

The discussions focused on ensuring the long-term sustainability of WEPOWER, strengthening women's participation and leadership in the power sector, advancing STEM and capacity-building initiatives, fostering industry-academia collaboration, and exploring innovative pathways for a more inclusive energy transition.

As the Chair of the WEPOWER India Chapter, Prof. (Dr.) Tripta Thakur reaffirmed the collective commitment to empowering women professionals, promoting diversity in the energy sector, and building a resilient and sustainable future for the power ecosystem.

🌿 पौधरोपण अभियान 2026 | एक कदम प्रकृति की ओर

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर वीर माधो सिंह भंडारी उत्तराखण्ड प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, देहरादून में “एक कदम प्रकृति की ओर” थीम के अंतर्गत पौधरोपण अभियान का आयोजन किया गया।

माननीय कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) तृप्ता ठाकुर के नेतृत्व में आयोजित इस अभियान का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण, हरित परिसर निर्माण एवं सतत विकास के प्रति जागरूकता को प्रोत्साहित करना था। इस अवसर पर माननीय कुलपति महोदया ने पौधरोपण कर प्रकृति संरक्षण एवं पर्यावरणीय उत्तरदायित्व के प्रति विश्वविद्यालय की प्रतिबद्धता को पुनः अभिव्यक्त किया।

कार्यक्रम में कुलसचिव डॉ. राजेश उपाध्याय, विभागाध्यक्षों, अधिकारियों, शिक्षकगण, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता करते हुए अधिकाधिक वृक्षारोपण एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संकल्प लिया।

वीर माधो सिंह भंडारी उत्तराखण्ड प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, देहरादून में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” विषयक योग सत्र एवं “एक कदम प्रकृति की ओर” थीम पर पौधरोपण अभियान का सफल आयोजन किया गया।
माननीय कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) तृप्ता ठाकुर के मार्गदर्शन में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य योग के माध्यम से स्वस्थ एवं संतुलित जीवनशैली को बढ़ावा देना तथा पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जन-जागरूकता सुदृढ़ करना रहा।

अपने संदेश में माननीय कुलपति प्रो.
