As the prolonged crisis in the area escalated to military action early this morning after the attack of Russia to Ukraine in the cities of Kiev, Dnipro, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk and Mariupol, foreign nationals have been instructed to evacuate the country. The recent developments have forced the Ukrainian President to declare martial law, and it is presently impossible to predict their long term effects on the country, or when life will return to regularity.

Under such conditions, it is currently unclear if and in what way the Medical Universities of Ukraine will keep offering classes, especially since online education is not allowed by law by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science. Medicine and Dentistry students are, thus, advised to request official transcripts from their current Universities and immediately seek alternative options, in order to guarantee the continuation of their studies.
