विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2026 के उपलक्ष्य में IRFC द्वारा चलाये गये 'एक पेड़ माँ के नाम' अभियान के तहत आज (5 जून को) NBCC परिसर, नई दिल्ली में पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। माननीय प्रधान मंत्री श्री Narendra Modi के संकल्प से प्रेरित होकर सभी ने स्वच्छ, हरित एवं बेहतर भारत के निर्माण में सहभागी बनने का संकल्प लिया। 🌱

पौधारोपण के उपरांत, पर्यावरण दिवस अभियान के अंतर्गत विगत 15 मई से संचालित गतिविधियों की समीक्षा और विभिन्न प्रतियोगताओं के विजेताओं की घोषणा की गई।

पर्यावरण संरक्षण आने वाली पीढ़ियों के प्रति हम सभी की साझा जिम्मेदारी है। इसी भावना के साथ IRFC हरित भविष्य के निर्माण हेतु जन-जागरूकता और सहभागिता को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

Ahead of World Environment Day, IRFC officials came together on 02 June 2026 to spread the message of environmental responsibility through a powerful Nukkad Natak at the IRFC office.

Presented by IRFC officials, the street play highlighted the urgent need to protect our environment and adopt sustainable practices in everyday life.

An ardent follower of Indian classical musical traditions, our CMD Manoj Kumar Dubey believes the legacy of these timeless art forms should be preserved for they infuse breath, blood & vibrance into the soul of Bharat!

When we had an occasion to welcome to our office Padma Vibhushan Dr N Rajam today, we were thrilled & elated. What made this truly special was the visit by this Carnatic & Hindustani music legend a day after she was conferred the Padma award by Hon President of India. We are honoured to have sign an MoA with Omkarnath Music Foundation Trust to support infrastructure development at Swar-Sadhana Tapovan, a Gurukul envisioned to preserve & nurture the timeless traditions of Indian Classical Music for future generations.

IRFC Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Omkarnath Music Foundation Trust under its CSR initiative for supporting the development of infrastructure & allied facilities at Swar-Sadhana Tapovan, the Gurukul of Padma Vibhushan Dr N Rajam in Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu.

The project aims to preserve & promote the rich legacy of Indian Classical Music through the traditional Gurukul system, where students live and learn under the guidance of Gurus in an immersive residential environment.

Under the agreement, IRFC Foundation will support the project for key infrastructure including:
•⁠ ⁠CCTV & Security Systems
•⁠ ⁠Mandapam Flooring
•⁠ ⁠Audio-visual teaching equipment
•⁠ ⁠Residential rooms for Gurus and staff

As a Navratna CPSE, IRFC remains committed to supporting meaningful social and cultural initiatives through its CSR interventions across the country.

IRFC signed a landmark Rs 13,527 crore term loan agreement with L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) & Hyderabad Metro Rail for refinancing the Hyderabad Metro Rail project, marking one of India’s largest urban transit refinancing transactions.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Shri Manoj Kumar Dubey, IRAS, CMD, IRFC; Shri K. RAMAKRISHNA RAO, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana; Shri Sarfaraz Ahmad, IAS, MD, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL); Shri Randhir Sahay, Director (Finance) - Additional Charge, IRFC; Ms Deepa Kotnis, Executive Director (Finance), IRFC; along with senior officials from IRFC, HMRL & L&TMRHL.

Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-I, spanning 69.2 km across three corridors with 57 stations, is among the world’s largest metro rail projects developed under the PPP model and currently serves over 5 lakh passenger journeys daily.

The transaction reflects IRFC’s growing role in financing strategically important public infrastructure projects and sustainable urban mobility initiatives aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) participated as the Title Partner at InnoMetro 2026, a significant industry platform bringing together key stakeholders from the rail & infrastructure ecosystem.

Shri Manoj Kumar Dubey, CMD IRFC, delivered the keynote address during the inauguration of the conclave, highlighting the transformational role of rail infrastructure financing in India’s aspirational journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047.

Ms Deepa Kotnis, Executive Director (Finance), IRFC, also participated in the second panel discussion on “Building Efficient and Inclusive Urban Rail Systems,” sharing perspectives on sustainable financing and urban mobility infrastructure.
