Jhansi Division Indian Railways

Annual Inspection of GM/NCR in Jhansi division culminated with lots of awards, laurels and an amazing cultural night. A very successful visit by the seniormost officers from Headquarter. Congratulations to all the award winners and thanks to all the railway men and women of Jhansi.

Notification inviting application for 15% Limited Departmental Competitive Exam for selection of Goods Guard in the pay scale of 5200-20200+2800 GP has been circulated throughout. The last date has been extended till 27.01.2015 after issuing a corrigendum on 19-01-2015 regarding inclusion of 2000 GP for Commercial Clerks.

Jhansi division conducted exam, scheduled every month, for appointment on compassionate ground for dependents of deceased railwaymen. This is a prominent component of Staff welfare measure in Indian Railways.

Swachcha Bharat Abhiyaan at Jhansi Railway Station was blessed by the presence of Hon'ble Union Minister Ms. Uma Bharati. She enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive, appreciated Rangoli work by students and Nukkad Natak on Cleanliness.

Swachcta Abhiyan was also arranged in Railways East Colony marked by procession, cleaning campaign and Oath taking. Specially organised by sportsmen of the division led by SrDFM.

General Stores Depot Jhansi organised cleanliness drive to mark Swachcha Bharat Mission.

Here are some glimpses of Swachchta Abhiyan at Morena which, apart from other activities, included a signature campaign and shapath for passengers in the station. In first two hours itself, more than a hundred travellers participated. Oath was also administered to teachers of various schools of Morena.

Students organised rallies, door to door campaign, plantation program and oath taking ceremony in several schools and railway colony.
