NIESBUD is conducting the ESDP on Solar Entrepreneurship at NSTI, Ludhiana, Punjab. On Day 2, participants attended insightful sessions on Basics of Solar Energy, Solar Components and System Design, and Business Opportunity Identification. The expert-led sessions encouraged participants to understand both the technical and business aspects of solar entrepreneurship, preparing them to explore meaningful opportunities in the growing solar sector.

NIESBUD is conducting Batch 3 of the Training of Trainers Programme on Entrepreneurship Development for Facilitators at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Day 2 focused on key themes including Business Opportunity Identification, Rural Entrepreneurship, Services Sector Opportunities, and Market Survey. The sessions conducted by guest faculty Dr. T. Raja, Ms. Jayashree, and Shri Ram Verma encouraged participants to explore business possibilities, understand market needs, and build facilitation skills for entrepreneurship development.

NIESBUD organized the ESDP on Solar Entrepreneurship, sponsored by MNRE, at NSTI Campus, Dehradun on 02 June 2026. The programme witnessed active participation from 23 candidates, who engaged in learning focused on solar entrepreneurship, renewable energy opportunities, and sustainable enterprise creation.

Under the leadership of Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Hon'ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship has launched NAVACHAR MANTRA, a national initiative designed to identify, mentor, and elevate early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs across India, with a special focus on Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns, aspirational districts, and rural geographies.
Implemented by NIESBUD and supported by F**T, IIT Delhi as the Knowledge Partner, Navachar Mantra aims to build a robust innovation ecosystem that connects promising innovators with mentors, industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and market opportunities. Through structured mentorship, national-level visibility, expert guidance, innovation showcases, and access to growth opportunities, the initiative seeks to transform grassroots ideas into scalable enterprises and impactful success stories.

NIESBUD is conducting the TOT Programme on Entrepreneurship Development for Facilitators under the MoRD–MSDE Convergence Initiative at the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Andhra Pradesh. The inaugural session was graced by Shri Shiv Shankar Prasad, Director, SERP; Shri A. Srinivas, DPM LH, NTR DRDA; Shri Srinivas Reddy, JPE Non-Farm, SERP; and Consultant Shri Sumit Sharma. With enthusiastic participation from attendees, sessions by Ms. Y. Likitha and Ms. Bhavani provided practical learning on entrepreneurship development, communication, life skills, employability skills, and enterprise-building concepts.

The second day featured sessions on Entrepreneurship and Opportunity Identification by Master Trainers Ms. Kamlesh and Ms. Madhu. An insightful session on rural entrepreneurship opportunities was delivered by Mr. Baljeet Sharma, Retd. AGM, SBI, while in-house faculty members Mr. B. S. Sajwan, Mr. A. B. Chand, and Mr. Rakesh contributed to making the day enriching and impactful for all participants.
