Yoga and Meditation Session by Art of Living :

Firayalal Public School organized a yoga and meditation session for the students of Classes V, VI, VII, and VIII to commemorate International Yoga Day.

Mr. Ujjawal Bhaskar, a yoga teacher with an experience of more than 14 years and a disciple of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji, was the guest on the occasion.

The team of other experienced yoga instructors - Mrs. Moushmi Banerjee, Ms. Superna Deogharia, Ms. Ankara Baul, Mr. Gaurav and Mr. Gagan, along with seven volunteers, were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the students, Vice Principal- Mrs. Haneet Munjal highlighted that yoga and meditation are essential tools for developing a healthy body, a calm mind, and a disciplined personality. She encouraged students to make these practices a part of their daily lives.

The session included warm-up exercises, asanas, breathing techniques, and guided meditation. Students participated enthusiastically and experienced relaxation, focus, and positivity, making the programme an invaluable and enriching learning experience.

फिरायालाल पब्लिक स्कूल में कक्षा ३ से ५ तक के विद्यार्थियों के बीच हस्तलेखन क्षमता को विकसित करने के उद्देश्य से सुलेख लेखन गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया। इस गतिविधि में विद्यार्थियों ने सुंदर, स्पष्ट एवं साफ-सुथरे अक्षरों में लेखन का अभ्यास किया। विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और अपनी लेखन कला का प्रदर्शन किया। इस गतिविधि से उनके लेखन कौशल, एकाग्रता तथा प्रस्तुतीकरण में सुधार हुआ।

Visit to Jharkhand T20 League 2026.

Students of Classes VI to XII of Firayalal Public School, Ranchi, were taken to the JSCA International Stadium Complex on 19th June 2026 to witness the exciting matches of the inaugural Jharkhand T20 League (JPL). The league, being held from 10th to 23rd June, has generated immense enthusiasm among cricket lovers across the state. The students enjoyed the thrilling encounter between Dhanbad Diamonds and Koylanchal Super Kings, scheduled for the day, and witnessed the electrifying atmosphere of a professional cricket tournament.

The visit provided students with a memorable experience and encouraged sportsmanship and team spirit.
The students were very excited to witness the match.

Best Out of Waste

Firayalal Public School organized an Inter-House Competition BEST OUT OF WASTE under the aegis of school Eco Club on 18th June 2026.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Monika Bhatia and Mrs. Anchan Prasad Keshari, HOD, Social Science Department.

The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and environmental consciousness by transforming discarded materials into useful and attractive usable items. Through their remarkable creations, the participants highlighted the importance of waste management and sustainable living.

The main objective of the event was to promote the values of sustainability and encourage students to contribute towards a greener and cleaner environment. Among the participating houses, Maitri House secured the first position, while Gyan House stood second.

Vice-Principal, Mrs. Haneet Munjal appreciated the efforts of all participants and congratulated the winners. She emphasized the importance of the Three Rs—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle—and encouraged students to become responsible ambassadors of environmental conservation.
