Today, the Campus Director, Dr. Wesley Kiprop, officially opened an Induction Programme for Senior Officers from The Social Health Authority (SHA) at the Campus.
In his remarks, Dr. Kiprop challenged the officers to position themselves as part of the team that will shape SHA into a high-performing institution capable of delivering on its mandate and advancing quality services.
Speaking during the opening session, the Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development, Dr. Mathew Kimeli Chirchir, noted that the programme is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills required in public service. Upon completion of the programme, they are expected to demonstrate enhanced professionalism, strengthen service delivery, uphold public service values, and effectively contribute to the achievement of the Social Health Authority's strategic objectives.
Also present during the opening ceremony were Mr. John Napoo, Campus Deputy Director Learning and Development; Ms. Valentine Jepkorir Morogo, Deputy Director County Coordination; and Ms. Floridah Igoki Mbogori, Deputy Director Registration and Compliance.
The programme underscores the commitment of both the School and The Social Health Authority to strengthening institutional capacity and developing competent public officers who will drive the Authorityβs vision and contribute to a more responsive and efficient public service.

Earlier today, the Campus Director, Dr. Wesley Kiprop, officiated the closing ceremony of Senior Management Course No. 227/2026.
The participants, drawn from various departments of the National Youth Service (NYS), successfully completed the programme after seven weeks of blended learning conducted at their respective duty stations before converging at the Campus for examinations and research project presentations. While on Campus, they also participated in a tree-planting exercise to mark World Environment Day, reaffirming their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
Representing the Director General of NYS, Assistant Director Human Resource, Mrs. Nancy Adoyo, commended the officers for their dedication and resilience in balancing work and academic commitments. She encouraged them to embrace purposeful leadership, effective delegation, and mentorship as they take on greater responsibilities within the Service.
Also present during the ceremony were Mr. John Napoo, Deputy Director Learning and Development, and faculty members Mr. Pharis Ndwiga, Ms. Lucy Vike, and Mr. Phillip Komen.
The successful completion of this programme underscores the continued commitment of both KSG and NYS to strengthening a capable, adaptive, and forward-looking public service through continuous leadership development while ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.

Observed annually on June 5, World Environment Day serves as a global call to action for the protection and restoration of our environment. The day reminds individuals, institutions, and communities of their shared responsibility in addressing environmental challenges and safeguarding natural resources for future generations.
In commemoration of this year's World Environment Day, led by the Campus Director, Dr. Wesley Kiprop, and the Deputy Director, Learning and Development, Mr. John Napoo we participated in a tree-planting exercise, demonstrating our commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
This initiative reflects the School's support for national and global efforts to increase forest cover, mitigate the effects of climate change, and promote environmental stewardship. Through such actions, the School continues to encourage a culture of responsibility and collective action towards building a greener, healthier, and more resilient future.

We successfully concluded a week-long outreach induction programme for newly recruited staff of the Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency in Nakuru County, held from 18thβ22nd May 2026.
The programme was designed to equip the new officers with essential knowledge and skills to effectively deliver on their mandate while upholding professionalism, accountability, and efficiency in public service. By bringing the training directly to the Agency, Kenya School of Government, Baringo Campus ensured a practical, accessible, and workplace-relevant learning experience.
Earlier on, the day commenced with a team-building session aimed at enhancing collaboration, building trust, and promoting teamwork among the new officers as they begin their service journey.
The closing ceremony was graced by KSG Baringo Campus Deputy Director Mr. John Napoo, Chairman of the Agency Board Hon. Mathenge Ndiritu, Agency CEO CPA Douglas Murei, members of the Board of Directors, and staff of the Agency. Mr. Napoo was joined by Dr. Eddah Cheruiyot, Head of the Business Development and Marketing Department.
The success of this programme demonstrates the critical role of outreach training in strengthening capacity, workplace culture, and effective service delivery across public institutions.

Kenyans can now conveniently access selected Kenya School of Government (KSG) services at Huduma Centres across the country following the official rollout of the partnership launched today May 20, 2026 at The Huduma Centre, Eldoret. The initiative marks a major step in bringing government services closer to mwananchi through more accessible and efficient service points.
The launch was presided over by KSG Director General Prof. Nura Mohamed, PhD, EBS, alongside Huduma Kenya CEO Ben Kai Chilumo, KSG Baringo Campus Director Dr. Wesley Kiprop, and Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Dr. E. H. Nyale. This partnership follows months of consultations, staff training, and technical preparations aimed at ensuring smooth and citizen-centred service delivery.
In his remarks Prof. Nura Mohamed noted that integrating KSG services into Huduma Centres will benefit both public servants and the general public by improving convenience and reducing the need to travel to KSG campuses.
On his part, Huduma Kenya CEO Ben Kai Chilumo said the collaboration aligns with the governmentβs agenda of decentralizing services while strengthening Huduma Centres as citizen-centred one-stop service platforms.
The launch sets the stage for a nationwide rollout, reinforcing the governmentβs commitment to improving public service delivery through innovation, digital transformation, and strategic partnerships.
Kenyans are encouraged to visit their nearest Huduma Centre to access the newly available KSG services.
