Earlier today, I fellowshipped with the faithful at AIC Fellowship Kapseret, and later we came together for a fundraiser in support of a modern Sunday School building that will help nurture our children in faith and good morals.

I mourn the passing of Mama Zipporah Jerotich Kosgey, wife of my dear friend, former Tinderet member of Parliament, Mheshimiwa Henry Kosgey.

To Mheshimiwa Henry Kosgey, their children Allan, Charlene, Alexander, and the entire family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Mama Zipporah was a loving wife, mother, and matriarch. Her warmth, resilience, and gentle spirit will not be forgotten.

We stand with you in this time of grief. May she rest in perfect peace.

Today, I joined National Assembly Speaker Moses Masika Wetang'ula, E.G.H,MP, Soy Member of Parliament Hon. David Kiplagat, a host of other leaders, and the faithful of Kapkwis SDA Church for a thanksgiving service in honor of Commissioner Hon. Isaac Melly following his appointment as a commissioner of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), as well as a fundraiser in support of eight churches, bringing together leaders and believers in a spirit of unity, faith, and thanksgiving.

Congratulations to Hon. Isaac Melly, and may God grant him wisdom and guidance as he serves the nation.

Today we laid to rest our nephew, the late Kelvin Kipkemboi Chumba, at Kapchan in Kuinet, Kapsuswa Ward, Soy Constituency.

Joined family, friends and residents of Barkeiywo, Tarakwa Ward in laying to rest Mzee William Kipkoech Rono.

Mzee William Kipkoech was a Christian in both word and deed, an astute Community Mobilizer and a remarkable family man.

Most heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and the entire Tarakwa Community.

The 6th batch of students from Uasin Gishu County graduates today with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland. They joined through the County Overseas program, started by the County Government of Uasin Gishu in 2021.
