The Principal Secretary for Shipping and Maritime Affairs Mr. Aden Millah today chaired the Department’s monthly Heads of Departments meeting aimed at reviewing ongoing programmes, assessing progress on key priorities, and strengthening coordination in service delivery.
The meeting provided an opportunity for departmental heads to evaluate the implementation of strategic initiatives and ensure seamless ex*****on of activities across the Department.
Discussions focused on enhancing efficiency, improving collaboration, and aligning day-to-day operations with the Department’s broader strategic objectives.
The Principal Secretary emphasized that effective governance is anchored on deliberate coordination and accountability, noting that continuous engagement among departmental leadership is critical in driving results and delivering quality services to Kenyans.
The Department reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating the implementation of programmes and projects that advance Kenya’s shipping, maritime, and blue economy agenda, while ensuring that all efforts remain focused on achieving sustainable growth and national development goals.
