Today, the Uwezo Fund participated in the MSME Connect Isiolo Chapter held at El-Borana Hotel, Isiolo County.
The forum brought together entrepreneurs, MSME stakeholders, development partners, and government agencies in a collaborative effort aimed at strengthening support for small businesses and improving access to business development services and financing opportunities.

The event was officiated by Mr. Henry Rithaa, Director General of the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA), who represented the Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and MSMEs Development, Hon. Dr. Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya. The County Government of Isiolo was represented by Deputy Governor Hon. James Lowasa on behalf of Governor Hon. Ibrahim Guyo Hassan.
The Uwezo Fund delegation was led by Board Member Director Sam Ogolla.

The MSME Connect forum provided a valuable platform for entrepreneurs to directly engage with government agencies, access information on available support programmes, and explore opportunities for business growth. It also reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to strengthening the MSME sector as a key driver of economic transformation under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
