DOWN TIME OF GHRIS AND UHR SYSTEMS
We have been informed that the ICT infrastructure hosting the GHRIS and UHR systems has been experiencing down time. After further investigations, the problem has been identified as a hardware issue with one of the components. The Technical support team is on the ground to replace the faulty component with an aim of restoring the systems by Close of Business today. Please, bear with the situation as the teams work to resolve the issue.

If you have a UPN / Payroll Number, the process of registering into the GHRIS has two steps as indicated here under. These steps are followed from the GoK Employees Log In Section of GHRIS.

Step 1: Register - (New Employee? Register Here) this will create your user Account in GHRIS

Step 2: Set your Password - Use the Forgot Password section (Forgot your Password?) to create a password that you will hence forth use to Log Into GHRIS.

Requirements: Your Unified Payroll Number (UPN) / Payroll Number and all the attendant personal and HR information.

NB:
i. Do not mix up the Steps.
ii. There is no email or SMS that will be sent to you in this process. You register and set the password, then proceed to use it.

The technical challenges being experienced by the Public Service Payslips Portal have been overcome partially and the Portal in back online. The Technical Team is on the ground to resolve the remaining aspects of the challenges.

From the GHRIS/IPPD Management:
We have been experiencing technical problems with the Public Service HR Data warehouse which has affected, among others, the access to payslips, P9s and payroll updates. As a stop gap measure, we have reverted back to GHRIS for the recent payslips and P9s. To avoid interruptions of other HRM services such as performance appraisals and UPN, the in charge of payrolls have been given user rights to print payslips and P9s.
Our technical team is working extra hours to restore the services.
