BATUK MUST LEAVE KENYA NOW
The British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) has no justification for maintaining a military presence on Kenyan soil. BATUK must withdraw from Kenya immediately.
Its departure, however, does not absolve it of responsibility. Before, during, and after withdrawal, the British government and BATUK must fulfil the following obligations:
1. End impunity now. British soldiers must be subject to Kenyan jurisdiction and face trial in Kenyan courts for crimes committed on Kenyan soil.
2. Face justice for past crimes. Establish a full, independent investigation into all historical offences linked to BATUK. Hold all perpetrators accountable. No exceptions. No cover ups.
3. Pay full compensation. Provide immediate and adequate reparations to all victims and families affected by BATUK related crimes and abuses.
4. Declassify the truth. Release all records relating to crimes, abuses, deaths, injuries, environmental damage, and misconduct connected to BATUK operations in Kenya.
5. Acknowledge and support abandoned children. British soldiers who fathered children in Kenya must formally recognise paternity and guarantee child support and all associated rights.
6. Repair environmental damage. Conduct a comprehensive environmental audit of all BATUK training grounds, compensate affected communities, and restore damaged ecosystems.
7. Protect Kenyan workers. Review and overhaul conditions for all Kenyans employed by BATUK. Guarantee fair pay, safe working conditions, and compensation for injuries sustained during military exercises.
8. Make all agreements public. Subject all Defence Cooperation Agreements and military arrangements between Kenya and Britain to full public scrutiny and parliamentary oversight.
BATUK must leave Kenya. Accountability must remain. Justice cannot be negotiated. Justice cannot be delayed. Justice cannot wait.

THE ESCALATING CRISIS OF FEMICIDE IN KENYA
Femicide is not an isolated tragedy. It is a social crisis that reflects deep inequalities, exploitation, violence and the devaluation of women’s lives in our society.
The Revolutionary Women’s League calls upon working women, students, peasants, trade unionists, progressive men, youth and all democratic forces to unite in the struggle against femicide and gender based violence. This fight belongs to all who believe in human dignity, equality and social justice.
Silence protects the perpetrators. Unity strengthens the struggle. Organisation builds the power needed to end violence against women.

Happy 95th Birthday to Comrade Raúl Castro. 🇨🇺
The architects of aggression against Cuba should remember the lesson of the Bay of Pigs. The Cuban Revolution does not surrender. Cuba stands strong and defiant.

SOLIDARITY WITH INDIAN COMMUNISTS AGAINST STATE REPRESSION.
The organised raid on the residence of Pinarayi Vijayan, Polit Bureau member of the CPI(M) and former Chief Minister of Kerala, together with the detention of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India while protesting, is a dangerous attack on democratic rights and the communist movement in India.
When the ruling classes can no longer answer the people’s questions, they resort to intimidation, raids, and repression. History teaches us that communists cannot be silenced by police action. We stand in solidarity with Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan, the CPI(M), the CPI, and all democratic forces resisting state repression.
An injury to one is an injury to all. Solidarity is our weapon. Internationalism is our duty.
