In preparation for this year's IDADA celebrations, today our Nairobi County Office conducted an alcohol and drug abuse prevention sensitization session for Grade 10 learners of St. George's Girls Secondary School as part of pre-IDADA activities. ๐ซ๐
The session focused on raising awareness about substance abuse and empowering the learners to make informed and responsible decisions. ๐ง ๐ช

Our Isiolo County Office, together with the National Government Administration, Ministry of Health counsellors, and the National Police Service, is currently engaging the community in Bulapesa โ an identified drug-use hotspot. ๐๏ธ๐๐ฉบ
This is prevention in action. The team is:

Our Taita Taveta Office conducted a sensitization session at St. John Mwema Secondary School โ a timely engagement following a request from the school principal. ๐ซ๐
The discussion centered on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (ADA), exploring its effects, prevention, treatment, and management concerning students, families, and communities. We also addressed how ADA impacts academic performance and dispelled common myths about drugs. ๐ง โ
This session marked the third day of pre-IDADA activities, building momentum toward the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
