As citizens living along the border, like hundreds of other families, we have now been forced to flee and cannot return home because our land and houses have been surrounded and taken under control by the Thai military. Our homes have been almost completely destroyed, and what can now be seen are only “containers and barbed wire,” which Thailand has used military force to surround and occupy without shame, without respect for the law, and without respect for a neighboring country.

😭 As an ordinary citizen, I am deeply hurt to see Thai leaders speaking on the international stage as if they know nothing and hear nothing about their own actions. Their words are one thing, but their actual actions are completely different.

Cambodia is a sovereign state, not a colony under Thailand. Cambodia has the full right to raise issues affecting its territorial integrity, national security, and national dignity on any international platform, including the United Nations. If Thailand has nothing to hide, why is it afraid of these issues being raised internationally?

We have all witnessed these events firsthand. We will remember them as history — every action of the Thai military, Thai leaders, and Thai people against us, innocent civilians.

All of these actions must be recorded and remembered forever — every cruel act committed by the Thai military.

Thailand invaded Cambodian territory, causing destruction and suffering for local communities. Homes, schools, temples, and civilian infrastructure were damaged, while innocent villagers were forced to live in fear and uncertainty. No civilian should have to endure violence, displacement, or the loss of loved ones because of conflict.

Cambodia deserves respect for its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Disputes should be resolved through peaceful dialogue and international law, not through military action. The people living along the border deserve peace, security, and justice.

🇰🇭 As a Cambodian citizen, I wish to exercise my right to freedom of expression to voice my concerns, my views, and the pain I feel regarding the situation that is taking place.

At present, what Cambodia is calling for is:

• Genuine peace and justice for the Cambodian people.
• Respect for Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
• Accountability for the damages and consequences inflicted upon Cambodian citizens and their property.

For many years, Cambodia has demonstrated patience, restraint, and respect for international law. However, many citizens remain deeply concerned as tensions, disputes, and accusations continue to persist.

As a citizen, I would like to raise several questions to the international community:

• Does justice carry the same value for every nation, regardless of whether that nation is large or small?

• Is international law truly effective enough to protect the sovereignty and rights of smaller nations?

• Can international institutions genuinely guarantee that peace and justice are upheld without bias or discrimination?

Where is justice when innocent civilians are forced to live in fear and uncertainty?

Does the world today still uphold the principles of justice, human rights, and respect for international law?

I firmly believe that peace is not merely a matter of words. True peace must be demonstrated through actions, mutual respect, non-violence, and respect for the sovereignty of other nations.

🇰🇭 Cambodia is a small country, but it is a nation with dignity, a proud history, and a noble national identity. The Cambodian people wish to live in peace, to see justice prevail, and to witness international law being respected and applied equally to all nations.

Peace without justice is fragile. Justice that is not applied equally is not true justice.

As a Cambodian citizen, I seek nothing more than the fundamental rights of my nation: the right to live in peace, dignity, and justice. 🇰🇭

It is really unfair for Cambodia. Why Thailand is a country that likes to violate And likes to distort information that is not true, likes to violate again and again. Thailand says it wants peace, but its actual actions are different from the truth, likes to create fake information, paint Cambodia, likes to cause conflict and create war with neighboring countries. Is this a country that wants peace?

At present, what Cambodia is demanding is:

• Genuine peace and justice for the Khmer nation.
• Thailand must return the land that it is illegally occupying to Cambodia, so that Cambodian citizens can safely return to their homes and ancestral lands.
• Respect for Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
• Accountability for the damage and impacts that have occurred to Cambodian citizens and their property.

Cambodia has demonstrated patience, restraint, and respect for international law for a long time. However, concerns among many citizens remain, while conflicts and mutual accusations continue to occur.

As a citizen, I have several questions that I would like to ask the international community:

• Does justice have equal value for all countries, regardless of whether those countries are large or small?

• Is international law sufficiently effective in protecting the sovereignty and rights of smaller countries?

• Can international institutions guarantee that peace and justice will be implemented without discrimination?

Where is justice when innocent citizens are living in fear and uncertainty?
