Royal of University of Phnom Penh is proud to share that the Philippine Studies Program at CSEAS-IISPP at the Royal University of Phnom Penh is officially a part of Global Philippines Studies Program under Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines among 33 Institution globally.

Launched through a Deed of Donation signed between the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh and RUPP in April 2025, the program represents a meaningful step in South-South academic cooperation—connecting Cambodia and the Philippines through shared colonial histories, development trajectories, and ASEAN membership.

Since its launch in 2025, CSEAS has organized the first-ever Maritime Security Forum: Philippine and Cambodian Perspectives (December 2025), hosted a delegation of CSEAS researchers at the UP College of Law in Manila, and is working toward a joint publication on both countries' strategic responses to regional challenges. We look forward to deepening this partnership and fostering academic exchange between Cambodia and the Philippines.
