তালিকায় বর্ণিত আইডিসমূহের বিপরীতে ই-পাসপোর্ট (E-Passport) বিতরণের জন্য দূতাবাসে প্রস্তুত আছে। পাসপোর্ট বিতরণের সময়সূচি: অফিস চলাকালীন সময়ে প্রতিদিন সকাল ৯:০০ টা হতে বিকাল ৩:০০ টা পর্যন্ত।
সংযুক্ত সম্মতিপত্রটি পূরণ করে কাউন্টারে জমা দিয়ে কফিল পাসপোর্ট বাহকের অনুপস্থিতিতে নতুন পাসপোর্ট ডেলিভারি গ্রহণ করতে পারবেন।

বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, কুয়েত কর্তৃক কুয়েতে বসবাসরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশীদের বিভিন্ন সমস্যা জানা ও তা সমাধানের প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের লক্ষ্যে এবং দূতাবাসের সামগ্রিক সেবা প্রদানে কাজের স্বচ্ছতা ও জবাবদিহিতা বজায় রাখা তথা শ্রম কল্যাণ, পাসপোর্ট ও কনস্যুলার সেবার মান বৃদ্ধির উদ্দেশ্যে প্রতি মাসে গণশুনানির আয়োজন করা হয়ে থাকে। এই প্রেক্ষিতে জুন ২০২৬ এর গণশুনানি ১৪ জুন ২০২৬, রবিবার, দুপুর ১২:৩০ ঘটিকায় দূতাবাসের হলরুমে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

এতে কুয়েতে নিযুক্ত বাংলাদেশের মান্যবর রাষ্ট্রদূত মেজর জেনারেল সৈয়দ তারেক হোসেন, ওএসপি, এডব্লিউসি, পিএসসি এবং দূতাবাসের উর্ধতন কর্মকর্তাগণ উপস্থিত থেকে কুয়েত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশীদের সাথে মতামত বিনিময় করেন এবং তাঁদের বিভিন্ন সমস্যা সমাধানের বিষয়ে আলোকপাত করেন।

কুয়েতে অসুস্থ ও মানবিক সংকটে পড়া বাংলাদেশি নাগরিক মিজ্‌ রেশমা বেগমকে প্রয়োজনীয় সহায়তা প্রদান করে দেশে প্রত্যাবর্তনের ব্যবস্থা করেছে বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, কুয়েত।

দূতাবাসের সহায়তায় তিনি আজ ১৪ জুন ২০২৬ তারিখ জাজিরা এয়ারওয়েজের ফ্লাইট নং- J9 531K যোগে বাংলাদেশে প্রত্যাবর্তন করেন। এসময় দূতাবাসের একজন প্রতিনিধি তাঁকে কুয়েত আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে বিদায় জানান।

কুয়েতে নিযুক্ত বাংলাদেশের মান্যবর রাষ্ট্রদূত মেজর জেনারেল সৈয়দ তারেক হোসেন, ওএসপি, এডব্লিউসি, পিএসসি ১১ জুন ২০২৬ তারিখে টাইমস কুয়েত- পত্রিকার প্রকাশক ও প্রধান সম্পাদক জনাব তারেক ইউসুফ আল শুমাইমরির সাথে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন। এই বৈঠকে তাঁরা পারস্পরিক স্বার্থসংশ্লিষ্ট বিভিন্ন বিষয় তথা আন্তর্জাতিক রাজনীতি ও কুয়েত-বাংলাদেশ দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্ক শক্তিশালীকরণে গণমাধ্যমের ক্রমবিকাশমান ভূমিকা নিয়ে মতবিনিময় করেন।

আলোচনার বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ে রাষ্ট্রদূত সৈয়দ তারেক হোসেন বাংলাদেশ ও কুয়েতের মধ্যকার দীর্ঘস্থায়ী বন্ধুত্বের বিষয়ে তুলে ধরেন, যা বাণিজ্য, বিনিয়োগ, প্রতিরক্ষা, জ্বালানি, প্রযুক্তি এবং সাংস্কৃতিক আদান-প্রদানসহ বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে ক্রমাগত বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। এছাড়াও তিনি কুয়েতে বসবাসরত বিভিন্ন জাতি ও জনগোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে বৃহত্তর সচেতনতা ও পারস্পরিক সহমর্মিতা তৈরিতে গণমাধ্যমের ভূমিকার ওপর গুরুত্ব আরোপ করেন। বৈঠককালে তিনি বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে বাংলাদেশের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উন্নয়ন এবং কুয়েত ও বাংলাদেশের মধ্যকার ক্রমবর্ধমান কৌশলগত অংশীদারিত্ব তুলে ধরার ক্ষেত্রে গণমাধ্যমের সম্পৃক্ততা ও পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধির বিষয়ে আলোকপাত করেন। বৈঠকে তিনি কুয়েতে বসবাসরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের ভাবমূর্তি আরও সমুন্নত করার উপায় নিয়ে মতবিনিময় করেন।

টাইমস কুয়েত- পত্রিকার প্রধান সম্পাদক জনাব তারেক আল শুমাইমরি মান্যবর রাষ্ট্রদূতকে উষ্ণভাবে অভ্যর্থনা জানান এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে কুয়েতস্থ বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস ও কুয়েতে বসবাসরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি নাগরিকদের ভূমিকার ভুয়সী প্রশংসা করেন।

His Excellency Major General Syed Tareq Hussain, OSP, awc, psc, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Tareq Yousef Al Shumaimry, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of The Times Kuwait on 11 June 2026. The meeting provided an opportunity for a constructive exchange of views on matters of mutual interest, including the evolving role of media in strengthening international understanding and Kuwait-Bangladesh bilateral relations.

During the conversation, Ambassador Syed Tareq Hussain highlighted the longstanding friendship between Bangladesh and Kuwait, which has been ever-growing across multiple sectors, including trade, investment, defence, energy, technology, and cultural exchanges etc. He underscored the importance of media in fostering greater awareness and understanding among peoples and nations. The meeting also explored opportunities for enhanced media engagement and cooperation, particularly in highlighting the significant developments taking place in Bangladesh and the growing strategic partnership between Kuwait and Bangladesh. In the meeting, he also discussed on ways to further enhancing the image of the Bangladeshi diaspora residing in Kuwait.

Editor-in-Chief Tareq Al Shumaimry warmly welcomed the ambassador and commended the role of Bangladesh Embassy as well as Bangladeshi diaspora in Kuwait.

The Ambassador of Bangladesh to the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Major General Syed Tareq Hussain, OSP, awc, psc, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs of the State of Kuwait, on 09 June 2026.

During the meeting, the two dignitaries reviewed the longstanding and friendly relations between Bangladesh and Kuwait and discussed avenues for further strengthening bilateral cooperation. Their discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in trade, investment, manpower, defence, and other areas of mutual interest. They also exchanged views on recent regional and international developments and reaffirmed their support for efforts aimed at promoting peace, security, and stability.

Ambassador Syed Tareq Hussain conveyed the Government and people of Bangladesh’s heartfelt condolences over the loss of lives and damage to property resulting from the ongoing conflict in West Asia.

The Ambassador underscored the deep bonds of friendship and solidarity between the two countries, recalling Kuwait’s valuable support in facilitating Bangladesh’s integration into the wider Muslim community in 1974. He highlighted Bangladesh’s growing export potential in pharmaceuticals, leather goods, and ceramic products. The Ambassador encouraged greater Kuwaiti investment in Bangladesh’s Special Economic Zones and Hi-Tech Parks. He further emphasized Bangladesh’s capacity to supply skilled professionals, including engineers, medical practitioners, IT specialists, and nurses, to support Kuwait’s development needs.

His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to further strengthening its relations with Bangladesh and praised the positive contributions of the Bangladeshi community in Kuwait. He also recalled the vital role played by the Bangladesh Armed Forces during Kuwait’s liberation in 1991 and the continuing professional support by the Bangladesh Military Contingent's. The Minister reaffirmed Kuwait’s steadfast support for Bangladesh and expressed his desire to further strengthen the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
