The British Ambassador to Kazakhstan recently visited Air Astana’s Training Centre in Astana and took the controls of their state-of-the-art Reality7e full flight simulator.

The verdict? A smooth operator in every sense of the word. ✈️🇬🇧🎶

On World Earth Day, and ahead of the Regional Ecological Summit in Astana, the British Embassy was proud to host the world-renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum, London.

Now in its 61st year, the exhibition is a global platform for the finest nature photography, showcasing the breathtaking diversity and beauty of our natural world.

We also welcomed filmmaker Saxon Bosworth for a special screening of TASBAQA, a Royal Geographical Society-backed documentary celebrating the wild heart of Kazakhstan’s Ustyurt Plateau 🌍🐢
