In this role, you will:
✅ Design and deliver programs in information, media, digital, and AI literacy
✅ Collaborate with academic departments to support teaching and learning initiatives
✅ Develop instructional materials, guides, and online learning resources
✅ Provide consultations and reference services
✅ Contribute to the development of print and digital library collections

📝📚🎓 NEW ISSUE of the NU GSE Research in Education Journal: Volume 9, Issue 1

We are delighted to announce the release of NUGSERiE, Volume 9, Issue 1, now available through the NU Institutional Repository.

This issue brings together student research and scholarly reflections on language policy, multilingualism, higher education, and social challenges in Kazakhstan and the broader Central Asian context. The volume features two peer-reviewed research papers and three editorials that offer critical perspectives on language education, educational policy, equity, and the future of higher education.

NUGSERiE is a student-focused, student-led academic journal that provides a platform for graduate students to disseminate their research, develop academic writing skills, and engage with scholarly publishing in education.

We extend our sincere thanks to all authors, reviewers, editors, and contributors who helped make this issue possible. We invite readers to explore the latest research and scholarship featured in Volume 9, Issue 1.

The Nazarbayev University Library, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Association of University Libraries in the Republic of Kazakhstan, cordially invites you to the 14th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference (EALC 2026).

The conference aims to promote professional dialogue and the exchange of best practices in the field of library and information science. The program focuses on discussing current trends in the development of academic libraries, the implementation of innovative technologies, and strengthening international cooperation within the library community.

Conference languages: Kazakh, English, and Russian.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker — Jee-yeon Lee
Jee-yeon Lee is a Professor, Department of Library and Information Science at Yonsei University, Vice President at Korean Library Association, Director at Academic Library Research Institute (2019–present). She has also served as a Member of the Presidential Committee on Library and Information Policy during its 3rd term (2011) and 6th term (2018).
With extensive experience in library and information science, academic libraries, and information policy, Professor Lee has made significant contributions to advancing research, education, and library development in Korea and beyond.
