Congratulations to the Royal College Hockey Team on becoming champions of the All Island Inter-School Hockey Tournament. They remained unbeaten across all matches and secured the Under-20 All Island title for the first time since the tournament’s inception in 2014.

The Royal goalkeeper also received the award for the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament. The tournament was held from 24th to 27th May 2026 at the Rajarata University Grounds in Mihintale.

After a fierce battle, Royal College Colombo proudly retained the prestigious Michael Guneratne Trophy for the 10th consecutive year.

Congratulations to Uvindu Nehara on representing Sri Lanka and winning a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Youth Weightlifting Championship, a proud achievement earned through dedication and hard work.

The Commonwealth Youth Weightlifting Championship was held in Apia, Samoa, from April 27th to May 1st, 2026.

Congratulations to Rihan Ekanayake, Ahamed Ammar and Hiroosha Edirisinghe, who will be representing Sri Lanka at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2026, regarded as the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition. They were selected for the Sri Lankan delegation after becoming national winners at the Sri Lanka Science and Engineering Fair.

ISEF 2026 will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, from May 10th to 15th, 2026.
