Department of Rural Development - Central Province - Sri Lanka

The main objectives of this department are- To established and maintains a rural development societies in each village in the central province.

Secondly this department coordinates development activities in each Divis The department of rural development in central province act as the main responsible institution of rural Development in Central Province since the rural development is a highly devolved subject to the provincial council.
