When pregnant Queen Maaya Gothamie of Kapilavastu, the queen of King Suddhodana was heading from the city of Devdaha to her parents' kingdom to give birth to a very important bhosath baby Gothama Sidatha. But, ahead of her destination, and while on King's Street or Raja Mawatha in Kandy, Siri Lanka, she experienced labour pains and her staff swiftly made arrangements for the Queen to deliver the Bodhisatta baby who would later become Gothama Buddha.
