🇱🇺🇪🇺 Commissioner Dubravka Suica visited Luxembourg for a day of high-level meetings focused on EU–Mediterranean cooperation, investment and regional partnerships.
From discussions at the European Court of Auditors and the European Investment Bank to the EU–Egypt Association Council, the visit highlighted the EU's commitment to strengthening cooperation across the Mediterranean region.

🇪🇺 Renforcer la lutte contre le racisme au Luxembourg et au-delà
La coordinatrice de l’UE pour la lutte contre le racisme, Michaela Moua, s’est rendue au Luxembourg pour échanger sur le plan d’action de l’UE contre le racisme 2020-2025 ainsi que sur la stratégie nationale du Luxembourg à la Chambre des Députés Grand-Duché de Luxembourg.
En collaboration avec les députés, Gusty Graas, Mandy Minella et Françoise Kemp, le sujet des défis structurels tels que l’accès au logement, à l’emploi, à l’éducation et aux services sociaux a été abordé.
Ces mêmes défis ont fait l’objet de l’échange avec le ministre chargé de la Cohésion sociale, Max Hahn , tout comme le rôle de la société civile, la sensibilisation aux différentes formes du racisme et le soutien aux victimes et aux témoins. L'approche nationale de lutte contre le racisme s’inscrit dans l’effort du gouvernement de promouvoir le vivre-ensemble plutôt que l’intégration.
La visite a également permis un échange avec le Centre pour l’Égalité de Traitement, autour du Plan d’action national du Luxembourg contre toutes les formes de discrimination, avec un accent particulier sur l’éducation et le logement.
Nous remercions chaleureusement toutes les personnes impliquées dans cet échange constructif et l’engagement commun en faveur d’une société plus juste.

Today, EU Commissioner Hansen was back in Luxembourg 🇱🇺 to meet local quinoa, chia and livestock farmer Gilles Biver at the Gehaanshaff farm in Bettembourg. He listened to his perspectives and concerns as a young European farmer working within the protein crop production.
From supporting young farmers to pushing for sustainable innovation, this visit was another reminder that agriculture is not just about food – it’s about our future.
