It is with profound sadness and a truly heavy heart that we share some devastating news.

Our beloved, respected, and exemplary Scout Leader, Rico, has suddenly gone home.

​He was far more than just a leader to us; he was a pillar of strength, a friend to all, a guiding light, and a cherished presence whose warmth and dedication left an unforgettable mark on our entire village. His passion for scouting, his unwavering kindness, and the wisdom he shared will live on forever in the hearts of every scout he inspired.

​We are completely heartbroken by this sudden loss. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time as we navigate this grief together.

Last month, the Scout Association of Malta organised a symposium for all leaders across the Association. During this event, we also witnessed the transition of our Chief Commissioner and were presented with the Executive Team's strategic vision and objectives for the next five years.

The symposium provided an excellent opportunity for leaders to come together, reflect on the Association's achievements, and gain insight into the future direction of Scouting in Malta. The presentation of the new strategy highlighted key priorities and initiatives aimed at strengthening the movement and ensuring its continued growth and relevance for young people over the coming years.
