Ambjent Malta officials and Nature Stewards teamed up with other volunteers for a clean up at Pretty Bay, clearing away plastic, wrappers, cigarette ends and other waste from the shoreline. Their effort is a great reminder that caring for our coast starts with simple actions 👏.
Cleaner beaches mean healthier seas — and every bit of rubbish removed makes a real difference. 🌊♻️

Malta is currently witnessing the spectacular migration of the Painted Lady butterfly, one of the world's most remarkable insect migrations 🦋.
✅Every year, these butterflies undertake an extraordinary journey from Africa towards Europe, with the Maltese Islands lying along one of their main Mediterranean routes. Favourable weather conditions this year have resulted in particularly large numbers passing through our islands, creating a truly impressive natural spectacle 🤩.
If you've noticed hundreds of butterflies in recent days, chances are you've been seeing Painted Ladies on their incredible journey north. 🌍🦋
