This is a scam.

Members of the public are reminded not to click on any suspicious links, even if the message appears to come from someone they know. Such links may be used to steal personal information, gain access to accounts, or spread the scam further.

Please find below a list of upcoming scheduled network maintenance and upgrade works which may necessitate temporary electricity supply interruptions in, or in parts of, the indicated streets. These works are carried out regularly throughout the year as part of the servicing and reinforcement requirements of the national electricity grid.

Regular maintenance of the electricity grid is an essential continuous process for Enemalta to ensure a safe and reliable distribution network across Malta and Gozo, to provide for changing electricity demands in different areas and to minimise the risks of unplanned supply interruptions. In scheduling these works, Enemalta seeks to identify dates and times that cause the least possible inconvenience to our customers, taking into consideration the different requirements of the areas affected.

We would like to inform the residents of Senglea that the route of the procession with the statue of Jesus the Redeemer, which will take place tomorrow at 7:00pm, will pass through the following streets:

📍 Pope Benedict XV Square
📍 Archbishop Mattei Street
📍 Old Prison Street
📍 Two Mills Street
📍 Conception Street
📍 Victory Street

We kindly ask for your cooperation with the Police officers who will be present to facilitate vehicle clearance.

Vehicles parked along the above-mentioned route will be subject to towing from 1:00pm onwards.
