According to data highlighted in a recent study, 𝟯𝟮% of Malaysians above the age of 65 fall into the Bottom 40 (B40) category, leaving them highly vulnerable to rising medical costs and financial insecurity. When traditional takaful and insurance products are tailored primarily for individuals under 65, our seniors are left financially underserved just when they need support the most.

The study highlights how Islamic social finance can play a meaningful role in addressing the challenges of an ageing population while promoting inclusivity, compassion, and long-term community well-being.
