Apical brought Medanlicious, a culinary event, to Medan, North Sumatra, in March 2026, inviting visitors to explore how quality ingredients influence texture, stability, and flavour consistency.

The event featured interactive booths, children’s cake decorating competitions, workshops, and live cooking by professional chefs, creating an engaging and educational experience.

“Through Medanlicious, Apical aims to create a space that brings together education, innovation, and culinary exploration, while fostering a deeper appreciation for quality raw ingredients in the food industry,” said Farhana June Jamil, Head of Apical Innovation Centre (AIC) at Apical.

Apical is committed to supporting education and nurturing literacy in communities around our operations. During the holy month of Ramadan, we brought this commitment to life by supporting the Ramadan Literacy Festival at SDN 03 Marunda, North Jakarta.

The festival brought together 45 students from Grades 1 to 5, creating a space for them to share their Ramadan experiences. Through this activity, students expressed creativity, built confidence, and strengthened their literacy skills.
