"Maybe something happened to her in her previous school. Well that's her problem." Ryan said as he ate a banana.

"Ryan, you've still not shown us proof that Cody Martins is really your brother." James said.

"I have a picture here." Ryan said and brought out his phone from his pocket.

He went to his gallery and showed the picture he took with Cody in his office.

"Oh my God. He really is your brother." Nathan said as he took the phone from Ryan.

"But, what if that picture is fake?" Frankie said with a raised eyebrow.

"We need another proof." He continued.

"Come on guys. That picture is real. How else can I prove it to you?" Ryan said as he continued eating his banana.

"How about we meet him." James suggested.

"Fine then. Let me call him." Ryan said and dialed Cody's number.

It rang for a few seconds before he picked.

"What" Cody's cold voice boomed through the phone.

"Uhm, big bro. Actually I was wondering...." Ryan said slowly.

"Ryan. I'm busy." Cody said.

"Can I bring my friends to your office later? They really wanna see you." Ryan asked.

"No." Cody replied.

"Please, please, please. I promise we won't stay long." Ryan pleaded.

"Fine. Do whatever you want. Anything else?" Cody asked.

"No. Thanks big bro. I love you." Ryan said but Cody didn't reply and just hung up.

"Now do you guys believe me?" Ryan asked.

"Not until we meet him." Nathan replied.

"Seriously, how am I still still friends with you guys." Ryan scoffed.

"That's because you love us." The three of them replied and Ryan just rolled his eyes.

**SUNRISE GROUP
Ryan and his friends were already on the floor Cody's office was located.

"Hey Austin." Ryan greeted as he got to Austin's desk. Austin's desk is located beside Cody's office.

"Hi Ryan." Austin greeted back.

"Big bro is in his office right?" Ryan asked.

"Yes he is. By the way, why do you call Boss big bro and not me? I am the same age as him even older." Austin said with a raised eyebrow.

"Because you are not my big brother. Let's go guys." Ryan said to the three boys who were still looking surprised. He didn't bother knocking and just entered Cody's office.

"That brat." Austin scoffed and continued his work.

"How many times will I tell you to knock, Ryan." Cody said still not looking at Ryan.

"How did you know it is me?" Ryan asked with a grin.

"Because no one else would dare enter my office without knocking first." Cody said still not looking at Ryan.

"Anyways big bro, meet my friends." Ryan said and turned back just to realize they were not in the office yet. They were still standing outside.

"Guys, come in already." Ryan called out to them.

The three of them walked in together in a straight line with their hands crossed together at the front.

"Good afternoon sir. We are Ryan's friends." The three of them said together.

"You don't need to be so formal. Loosen up a bit." Ryan said and patted each of their shoulders.

"So guys this is my big brother Cody. He is my only family."

"Big bro, this is Nathan, Frankie and James. They are my friends." Ryan introduced.

Cody just looked at them briefly and gave a little nod at them before he continued his work.

"We will be leaving now sir. It was a pleasure meeting you." Nathan said.

The three of them bowed once again and left the office not even waiting for Ryan to say anything.

"I don't know why they are so shy." Ryan said and sat on the couch.

"Why are you still here?" Cody asked coldly.

"I want to do my assignment. I promise I won't disturb you. You won't even know I'm here." Ryan said and brought out his book from his bag....

**NEXT DAY
Ariana was already on her way to the interview.

" God please help to get this job." She did a little prayer.

When she got the company, she sighed softly. She went to the receptionist table.

"Good morning. How may I help you?" The receptionist asked politely.

"I'm here for the interview." Ariana replied.

"Ok. Follow me please." The receptionist said and led Ariana to the elevator.

**SAME DAY, 4 PM
Ariana already got home from the interview already and was watching TV while eating some chips.

Someone unlocked the door and Ariana did not bother standing up because she knew it was Ariel.

"I'm home. How was your interview?" Ariel asked and sat down beside Ariana.

"Well....." Ariana said with a sad look.

"I got the job." She continued and jumped on Ariel.

"I'm happy for you little sister." Ariel said and ruffled Ariana's hair.

"Now get off me." She pushed Ariana away.

**PLEDIS MALL
"Remind me why I'm here again?" Cody asked as they entered the mall.

"You came to get a gift for lady Quincy." Austin replied.

"Why do I have to do that?" Cody coldly asked.

"Because madam told me to make sure you do it or else she will get rid of me." Austin replied.

"But Quincy isn't even in New York." Cody said confused.

"Your mum said she is coming back today. She also said you should come home for dinner tomorrow." Austin said.

"But I don't know what she likes." Cody said.

"Me neither. So why don't we look around and see if there is anything that catches your eye." Austin said.

**SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE MALL
"Come on , let's go." Ariel said as she dragged the unwilling Ariana into the mall.

"I still don't understand why you dragged me here." Ariana rolled her eyes.

"I dragged you here because shopping alone is boring." Ariel said in 'duh' tone.

"Wait. How come you are in the mood for shopping? Weren't you the one bawling your eyes out yesterday over a breakup." Ariana asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, I should move on. What's the use of crying over spilled milk." Ariel said.

"Wow, look at that dress." She continued and dragged Ariana to where the dress is located while Ariana just groaned.

Ariel took the dress and went to the changing room to try it on.

"How does it look?" She asked as she came out of the changing room.

She twirled a little to give Ariana a better view of the dress.

Ariana just gave a thumbs up while her attention was on her phone.

"You are not even looking at me." Ariel scoffed.

"But I'm taking it anyways." She said and walked back to the dressing room to change back.

Ariana just decided to look around since she was bored.

"I wonder where the rest room is." Ariana said as she was feeling pressed.

She didn't notice there was water on the floor. She slipped on it and grabbed the man next to her for support but the both of them ended up falling together.

The boy fell on top of her with his hands on her b***s.

Both their eyes widened when they saw where his hands landed. It widened more when they saw their faces........

"You." They both exclaimed at the same time.
***************************************

"You are that rude as***le from the restaurant. Are you really the CEO of this company?" Ariana asked.

"I know you are stupid but I didn't know you were also blind. It's so obvious that I am the CEO and how dare you call me an as***le?" Cody said angrily.

"Uhm, do you guys know each other?" Austin asked with confusion written all over his face. But neither of them answered as they were just glaring hatefully at each other.

"I know he is not gonna give me this job and I'll rather be jobless than work for this arrogant bastard." Ariana thought.

Cody was gonna say something but Ariana beat him to it.

"Before you say anything, I don't want this job. I will rather be jobless than work someone like you. I will take my leave now." She said and turned to leave but just before she got to the door, she turned back and faced Austin.

"I'm sorry for wasting your time sir." She said before she finally left.

"Boss, how do you guys know each other?" Austin asked but Cody didn't bother answering and just went back to his seat.

"She really was the best candidate, it's a pity she just left like that." Austin said. "I guess I have to look for another secretary now." He sighed. Cody just ignored him again and leaned back on his chair.

**WILLIAMS RESIDENCE
"I really thought I could get a job today. Better luck tomorrow I guess." Ariana thought as she rammed her bag for her keys. She unlocked the door.

But when she entered, she met Ariel crying loudly on the floor in the middle of the living room. She looked like a mess with her smudged makeup and disheveled hair.

"What the f**k happened to you?" Ariana asked as she went to her and sat down beside her on the floor.
Ariel didn't answer and just cried louder.

"Oh my God Ariel. Just tell me what happened to you." Ariana exclaimed. She was getting annoyed already.

"My boyfriend broke up with me." Ariel said and cried louder.

"Come here." Ariana said and opened her arms for Ariel to hug her.

Ariel did as she was told and hugged her. "I truly loved him." Ariel said and sniffed.

"He doesn't deserve your love. He is the biggest jerk ever for breaking up with you. I never liked him anyways." Ariana said.

"You will find a better person than that jerk soon." Ariana said while stroking her hair affectionately.

"Now, why don't you go take a shower and change your clothes cos you look like a real mess right now." Ariana said as she dragged Ariel up from the floor.

"I know." Ariel said and went to the bathroom.

**30 MINUTES LATER
Ariel looked better when she came out of the bathroom.

"Now, that's the Ariel I know." Ariana said when she saw her.

"I never knew that my little sister was a motivational speaker." Ariel said and chuckled a little.

"Aren't you supposed to be thanking me?" Ariana asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Whatever. By the way, how was your interview? Did you get the get the job?" Ariel asked as she took the remote and turn on the TV and sat on the couch.

"No I didn't. I have another interview at Wilmer Pension. I applied for the secretary position." Ariana replied as she took an ice cream bucket from the fridge and took two spoons.

"You want some?" She asked as she sat beside Ariel on the couch. Ariel took the other spoon and dug into the ice cream while they watched Netflix.

"I have a feeling you will get the job this time." Ariel said while she took a spoon of ice cream and she put in her mouth.

"I hope so." Ariana replied.

**THREE HOURS LATER
Annie and Yvonne got back from work at the same time. They both work in different places. Annie is a lawyer while Yvonne is an accountant.

"Mom, big sis. How come you guys came together?" Ariel asked.

"We just met each other at the door." Annie replied.

"Is Ariana home?" Yvonne asked as she dropped her bag.

"I'm here." Ariana said as she came out of the room.

"Big sis. Welcome home." She continued and hugged Annie.

"I am also standing here." Yvonne rolled her eyes.

"Someone's jealous. But don't worry mom, I will hug you." Ariel said and hugged Yvonne.

"Whatever. Ana, did you get the job." Yvonne asked.

"No mom. I didn't but I know I will soon get a job." Ariana replied.

"I hope so. I don't want you mooching off me." Yvonne said.

"I will still mooch off you even when I get a job." Ariana said and stuck out her tongue at Yvonne.

"This child." Yvonne said while the others just laughed.

**SUMMER COVE HIGH SCHOOL
Summer cove high is the best high school in New York. Only rich kids attend the school. Ryan was lucky to attend because of Cody.

"Hey Ryan." Nathan said and hung his hand on Ryan's neck. He was with two other boys, James and Frankie. They were Ryan's best friends.

It was their break time so they were going to the cafeteria. When they got to there. The girls started screaming. They were already used to it as they were the hottest guys in summer cove high.

"Don't they get tired of screaming everytime." Ryan said as they sat down on their regular spot.

"You can't blame them. We are too handsome for this world." Frankie said dramatically.

"How am I still friends with you?" Ryan said.

"That's because you love me." Frankie replied.

"Guys, I heard a new girl is transferring here. I wonder who transfers in the last year of high school." James said.

"Maybe something happened to her in her previous school. Well that's her problem." Ryan said as he ate a banana.

CHAPTER 2&3
"How dare you talk to me like that. Do you know who I am?" Cody said in anger.

"I don't know who you are and I don't f**king care. Do you think you can just talk to me anyhow just because you are rich. I don't care if you get me fired. Did you think I will beg you? I know that's what you expected." She stopped and moved closer to him and patted his shoulder before continuing.

"Sorry dude but I Ariana Williams will never do that." She said and moved away from him before turning to Mr Andrews.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience sir." She said and bowed a little before leaving.

"Did that girl just talk to me like that. I will make sure she regrets this." Cody said.

"Mr Martins, you don't need to mind her. Those kind of girls just want to get the attention of rich men by pretending to not care about your money." Mr Andrews said in an attempt to make Cody calm down.

Cody didn't even bother listening to him as he just left the room.

"Who is the manager here?" Cody asked as he came out. Fortunately the manager was just coming out of a room so he heard someone calling for him.

"It's me. What can I do for you sir?" The manager asked politely.

"One of your workers did this to me." Cody said while pointing to his stained shirt. "I want her fired." He continued.

"I'm sorry for that sir but I have a lot of waiters here so I don't know the one you are talking about." The manager said.

"Her name is Ariana." Cody said.

The manager called a waitress passing by and told her to call Ariana.

"You called for me sir." Ariana said as she got there. She saw Cody and scoffed.

"Fire her right now or I will bring this whole restaurant down." Cody said

"You don't need to do that. I quit." Ariana said and left before the manager could even say anything. Cody also left the restaurant.

**WILLIAMS RESIDENCE
"I was going to quit that f**king job soon anyways. It's just a little bit earlier." Ariana said as she entered the house. She met her mom in the living room.

"Mom why are you so back so early. You are supposed to be home by four and this is just 2.30." She said as she slumped on the chair where her mom also sat.

"I had a little back pain so I took a half day leave. You are also not supposed to be back this early. What happened?" Yvonne asked.

"I quit the job." Ariana said. "Now I can find a real job." She continued.

"Why did you quit? What happened exactly? No wait let me rephrase that. What did you do?" Yvonne asked already knowing her daughter obviously did something.

"I actually didn't do anything. I spilled some wine on a rude brat." Ariana said annoyed.

"I can already guess what happened from there. No need to explain further." Yvonne said. "So what's your plan now?" She continued.

"Like I said before, I will get a real office job. I have an interview tomorrow." Ariana said as she got up to go find herself something to eat.

"Mom, I wanna make noodles. Do you want some?" Ariana said from the kitchen.

"No. I'm not hungry and you've not told me which company it is yet." Yvonne said as she also made her way to the kitchen. She took an apple from the fruit basket and peeled it before eating it.

"I will tell you when I get the job." Ariana said.

"That's if you get the job." Yvonne answered.

"Come on Mom, don't you trust your daughter? I will definitely get the job." She said confidently.

"If you say so, I just hope you don't get disappointed." Yvonne said still munching on the apple.

**SUNRISE GROUP
All the employees where all panicking as they didn't know who will be fired next. They knew Cody has always been very harsh and strict but he was worse today. He has fired five people today for the most simplest mistakes like a crooked tie and rumpled shirts.

**CODY'S OFFICE
Cody was angrily typing on his computer. He was thinking about how rude that girl had been to him. No one has ever dared to talk to him like that before.

"Can I come in?" Austin asked as he knocked gently. He came in when he saw that Cody didn't answer.

"Sir, I just want to remind you that tomorrow is my last day here. Hope you remembered?" Austin asked.

"Yeah. Just make sure you get me a new secretary before you leave here." Cody said in a very cold tone.

"Ok sir, there is gonna be an interview for your new secretary tomorrow and I will make sure you get a capable secretary." Austin said with enthusiasm laced in his voice. Cody didn't bother replying and just kept his poker face on. Austin took that as a cue to leave.

As soon as Austin left, someone else barged into his office and Cody looked up ready to fire the person but didn't say anything when he saw who it was.

"Hey big bro." Ryan said as he sat down on the couch. Ryan is like Cody's little brother because he is seven years younger but Cody will never say that to him. They met two years ago when Ryan was hit by Cody's car and ever since then Ryan refused to leave Cody's side even though Cody has tried his best to make Ryan leave him alone although he secretly likes Ryan's company but he will never admit it.

"I'm not your big bro and what do you want? I'm not in the mood for your nonsense. I have a lot of work, so leave." Cody said with annoyance laced in his voice.

"Yes you are my big bro or do you want me to call you little bro instead? I don't mind." Ryan laughed but stopped when he saw the murderous look on Cody's face.

"Sorry, sorry. Actually I want to ask for a favour." Ryan said as he moved closer to Cody.

"What is it?" Cody asked.

"My friends in school keeps showing off because they have rich parents so can I also tell them you are my big bro?" He asked sacred of Cody's reply.

"Do whatever you want." Cody replied.

"Really. Thanks bro." Ryan said as he quickly kissed Cody's cheek and ran away.

"That kid. I will still kill him one day." Cody said as he wiped off his cheek.

**NEXT DAY
"Big sis, pray that I get the job." Ariana said as she was eating breakfast.

"I know you will get the job. I trust you." Annie said as she stroked her hair.

"You are the best big sister anyone could ever ask for." Ariana said as she shoved a piece of toast into her mouth.

"What of me? I'm also your big sis." Ariel whined.

"You are the worst sister anyone could ever ask for." Ariana said and stuck out her tongue at her.

"Sis, did you hear that?" Arielle scoffed.

"Enough fighting. Ariana you will be late, you should go now." Annie said.

"Ok, bye sis." She said as she carried her bag and left.

**SUNRISE GROUP
Ariana got there and went to receptionist. The receptionist led her to the place where the interview was taking place. She sat waiting for her turn nervously. When it was finally her turn, she went in.

She came out happily when the interview was over because she felt she did very well and she was right because she was the only one that was picked among all the other applicants.

"Follow me." Austin told her. Ariana did as he said and followed him. They got to Cody's office and met Cody facing the window staring at the city so Ariana didn't see his face yet.

"Boss, this is your new secretary. She is capable." Austin said.

"I will do my best sir." Ariana said and bowed a little.

Cody turned and looked at her. She saw his face and her eyes widened, Cody's eyes also widened.

"You!" They both exclaimed at the same time.
