General Meeting no. 1331â¨
Meeting was a blend of learning, fellowship, and meaningful exchanges. đ
The highlight of the evening was a Guest Speaker Session by Mr. Subin Shrestha on Content Creation and Digital Storytelling, where members gained practical insights into creating impactful content, understanding audience attention, and communicating ideas effectively in the digital space.
We were also delighted to host a Goodwill Visit from Rotaract Club of Chandragiri, strengthening the bond between our clubs through conversations, fellowship, and shared enthusiasm for future collaborations. đ¤
The meeting concluded with souvenir exchanges, make-up card exchanges, and warm interactions among members, guests, and visiting Rotaractors.

Special Meeting | Meeting No. 1330 â¨ī¸
Some meetings leave an impact not because of the agenda, but because of the conversations that take place. đ
Meeting No. 1330 turned into a special gathering filled with reflections, guidance, and shared experiences. With the presence of five Past Presidents, our Immediate Past President, and members across different generations of the club, the evening became a valuable exchange of stories, lessons, and memories from years of Rotaract service.
From leadership and communication to personal growth and life beyond Rotaract, the insights shared by our Past Presidents reminded us that every Rotaract journey is unique, yet connected by the same spirit of service, fellowship, and learning. The room was filled with nostalgia, laughter, encouragement, and countless takeaways for the future. â¨
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss upcoming plans, exchange ideas for the year ahead, and strengthen the bond between past and present members of the club.

đ 18th Rotaract District Conference đ
A weekend of learning, networking, fellowship, and inspiration.
On May 8-9, our members proudly represented the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu at the 18th Rotaract District Conference held in Sauraha. The conference brought together Rotaractors from across District 3292 for insightful keynote sessions, engaging panel discussions, leadership announcements, and meaningful connections.
Beyond the sessions and celebrations, the conference served as a reminder of the impact we can create when passionate young leaders come together with a shared vision for service. We are proud of our members who participated, learned, and strengthened friendships across the district.
Congratulations to all newly elected district leaders, and best wishes for a successful Rotary Year ahead. Here's to growing together, leading with purpose, and continuing to make a difference. đâ¨

Sometimes, the most memorable moments come from the most unexpected topics. â¨
The highlight of General Meeting No. 1329 was undoubtedly the Impromptu Speaker Session, where speakers were challenged to think on their feet and share their thoughts on random topics. While every speaker brought a unique perspective to the floor, the topic "Give a motivational speech to mosquitoes" stole the show, filling the room with laughter, creativity, and some surprisingly convincing life advice. đĻđ
Beyond the fun, the meeting followed regular proceedings with a quiz session, reporting, and discussions on club development during the 2nd ZRR Visit, making it both productive and engaging.
Meetings like these remind us that learning, leadership, and fellowship can come hand in hand with a good sense of humor. đ

đ Shivaratri Volunteering at Pashupatinath
On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, members of the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu volunteered at the Pashupatinath Temple, supporting crowd management and assisting authorities in maintaining an organized and safe environment for thousands of devotees.
From managing queues to guiding visitors through the temple premises, our volunteers dedicated their time and energy to ensuring a smoother experience for worshippers throughout the day.
A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who stepped forward to serve with patience, responsibility, and commitment. Service is often found not in the spotlight, but in the simple act of helping others when they need it most. đąâ¨

General Meeting No.1328 â¨
General Meeting No. 1328 brought together members and guests for an engaging and insightful evening at Rotary Hall, Thapathali.
The meeting followed regular proceedings with a lively quiz session and enthusiastic participation throughout. A highlight of the evening was the guest speaker session by Mr. Rinchen Tamang on "Youth, Media, and Change" â where he shared his experiences with Project Kura, discussed the role of social media in driving social and political impact, and offered insights into the creator economy and the power of storytelling, making the session interactive, eye-opening, and inspiring.
The meeting concluded on a warm note with a Token of Love presented to Mr. Rinchen Tamang in appreciation of his session.

Global Talents, Endless Fellowship!!
On 23rd March, 2026, Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, RID 3292 in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Alumni of University of Moratuwa, RID 3220, conducted an event named "Rotaractors got Talent", a program which provided a lively and interactive platform where participants from both nations enthusiastically showcased a diverse range of creative talents thorough music, words and poetry.
The event also served as a milestone for the two clubs to officially renew their Twinship Agreement, reaffirming their shared commitment to continued fellowship and international service.

Introducing our Keynote Speaker - Bala Krishna Shrestha
Mr. Shrestha is an economist, industrialist, and institution builder whose career spans decades of service across Nepal's private sector, financial institutions, and public governance.
A Past President of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu, he has long championed the values of service, leadership, and community development - values that continue to define his remarkable journey.
He has served as President of the Nepal Steel Rolling Mill Association and as a Former National Council Member of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), representing the voice of Nepal's industrial community at the highest levels. As Chairman of Hama Iron & Steel Ind. Pvt. Ltd., he continues to lead one of Nepal's established manufacturing enterprises.
His contributions to Nepal's financial sector are equally distinguished - having served as Former Board Director and Board Chairman of Nepal Bank Ltd., Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, and Premier Insurance Co. Ltd., bringing strategic leadership to institutions that shape the country's economic backbone.
In public service, Mr. Shrestha served the Government of Nepal as a Senior Research Officer at the National Planning Commission, where he contributed to shaping national development policy. He also served as a Lecturer at Tribhuvan University, nurturing the next generation of economic thinkers.
A prolific voice on national affairs, he has published articles in leading Nepali newspapers on economics, industry, and social issues - reflecting a lifelong commitment to informed public discourse.
