A two-day carers’ training program was successfully conducted for the Sunkothi Carers’ Group in collaboration with Ward Office 27, Lalitpur Metropolitan City. The first day focused on a positive psychological support session aimed at strengthening carers’ mental well-being and resilience. On the second day, participants engaged in hands-on practical training on how to produce liquid soap, laundry soap, and phenyl.
SGCP continues to prioritize carers’ mental health, skill development, and opportunities for sustainable income generation through such programs.

SGCP Nepal, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square, successfully supported 50 families of children with cerebral palsy in Kavre District through the distribution of induction stoves and saucepans. This activity was carried out with the support of DDF RID 3292 Nepal Bhutan.
We are thankful to Dr. Pragya, President of RCPDS, for her strong leadership and support in making this initiative possible. We also thank Mr. Chandra Man, SGCP Rehabilitation Facilitator and Cluster Head of Kavre and surrounding districts, for his good coordination, which helped make the programme successful.
