Last Thursday afternoon, we gathered at the Western Philippines University Main Library to discuss "𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚."

A big thank you to our Resource Speaker, Ma'am 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗟. 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘆𝘂𝗻𝗻, for an inspiring talk. She left us with a strong message: your gender should never limit your dreams or dictate your future.

The Western Philippines University Library successfully conducted a 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 on February 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, held both in person and via Zoom. Chaired by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Romeo R. Lerom, the meeting was attended by the College Deans, Deans of Instruction, the ASIL Principal, Campus Library In-charges, QA Director, President of Student Federation, Campus Librarians, and the University Librarian.
During the session, University Librarian Dr. Arneil S. Enario presented the library’s recent accomplishments, utilization statistics, and collection development updates.
